Joining Enterprise Analytics & Data The Enterprise Analytics and Data (EAD) team is to enable consumer intimacy and the intelligent enterprise. We are driving, scaling and monetizing our investment in data to drive faster decisions, personalize consumer experience, and realize top-line and bottom-line impact across the value chain. To unleash the value of data for PMI, we are driving a holistic data and analytics transformation program including the shift to a federation of data & analytics skills and capabilities to accelerate PMI on the journey to become data driven Your ‘day to day’ This role will have high levels of visibility and you will serve as a cross-functional leader to guide the implementation of our Business Intelligence framework in a hub and spoke model, enabling dedicated analytical teams to ensure their analytics is consistent, trusted, and adheres to PMI’s principles, policies, and standards. You will facilitate the evolution of the framework and corresponding capability building activities. Below are the main accountabilities by area of responsibility: • Ensure a strong Community of Practice by enabling and guiding a globally spread team of Analytical professionals to mature Business Intelligence capabilities and translate that to a framework and roadmap on capabilities, guardrails, skill building and data literacy • Ensure the framework and roadmap are interconnected within the broader Enterprise Analytics and Data function and can fully enable PMI’s business ambition. • Work closely with Business Intelligence Managers who are the interface with the business to stay in tune with the business needs; communicate analytical capabilities and their business value effectively and timely as they become available. • Create an integrated plan to implement the guardrails and skill/capability frameworks in collaboration with the CoP core members. Define communication and promotion to grow the network. • Facilitate onboarding to new developed capabilities/enabled technologies within the bigger analytical ecosystem and data platform. • Establish within the community a library of common assets/templates to re-use and facilitate ease of development • Support the publication/data sharing strategy while assuring semantic integrity of the different data domains. • Work closely with Data governance and data literacy experts to facilitate an integrated federated approach in line with the hub and spoke model. • Define the approach towards executive Business Intelligence as well as self-service business intelligence by means of establishing guardrails within the community of practice and evolve them according to the roadmap • Manage budget, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility. • Develop approaches to metadata driven discovery and publication of existing analytics, utilizing the metadata strategy and capabilities as well as utilizing testing frameworks and performance validation of reports created. Who we’re looking for: Education: • Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Engineering, Information Management or Information Technology, • Fluent English, both written and spoken Work experience: • Minimum 7 years in a Data, Analytical or Engineering function • Minimum 3 years in a multinational corporate environment demonstrating exposure and/or expertise in Commercial, Marketing, Consumers, Commerce. Combining with Project Management and agile ways of working would be a plus. Skills and expertise: • Able to lead and motivate global cross-functional teams • Deep and broad knowledge of Business intelligence, principles, capabilities and tools as PowerBI, Tableau in a corporate world • Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational data issues and challenges • Leader who collaborates effectively across corporate and regions with strong influencing capabilities that can build consensus and drive change • Strong business Intelligence and data knowledge, dealing with variety of data and sources: master, transactional, IoT, time-series • Strong communication and writing skills in English • Storytelling ability using data and ability to communicate complex subjects in business-friendly language.
