THE “DATA INTELLIGENCE” TEAM: We are looking for a “Data Analyst” to join our “Data Intelligence” team based in our headquarter in Vienna, Austria. The team is building analytics capabilities in order to enable data driven decision making with focus on delivering high quality data sources, analyzing data and creating (PowerBI) Dashboards for different business functions. The Data warehouse platform hosted on AWS and levering the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack is meant to evolve through time with regular releases of new capabilities, data sources and other improvements. Future plan is to use a global data ocean platform. THE “DATA ANALYST” ROLE: As a “Data Analyst”, you will join a growing team where you will analyze and model data from different systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP) with business stakeholders (Sales, Digital Marketing, CRM, Supply Chain) for our different product categories. You will need good technical skills, business understanding and communication skills for the day-to-day work with business stakeholders, global SMEs and external vendors. WE OFFER YOU: • A unique opportunity to join the market leader “Philip Morris Austria GmbH” – be part of the biggest transformation in the history of our company – to „Design a Smoke-Free Future“ and enable “Data Driven Decision Making” • Hybrid working, mobile working and flexible working time agreement • An annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: min. € 60,000/year gross, with willingness to negotiate overpayments in line with the market, depending on experience and qualifications • An all-in employment relationship with diverse benefits, team events, various insurances and much more • Possibility to grow in an international organization with internal and external training possibilities YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Agile collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Visualization Analysts, Data Scientists, global SMEs and external vendors • Participate in projects to enable data driven decision making: Requirements engineering with business functions and solution design • Analyze data sources and organize data into usable formats • Support in the evaluation of data, such as the creation of ad-hoc reports based on SQL • Developing database objects, creating data lineage and data catalog • Creating dataflows and datasets in Power BI • Performing data quality checks YOUR PROFILE: • You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar • You have at least 3 years experience in business / data intelligence – FMCG knowledge is a plus • You have a combination of business and technical skills to effectively work with all stakeholders, understand business challenges and/or technical challenges • You have excellent analytical skills - identify trends, patterns and insights from data • You have technical experience in: - Hands-on experience in SQL: View, Stored Procedures, Analytical Functions, etc. - Designing DWH and DB solutions (Star Schema) - Good understanding of ETL framework - Knowledge of Snowflake and AWS services like S3, Lambda is a plus • You are familiar with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) • You have knowledge of agile development methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken – German is a plus INTERESTED?
