As Data Insights Analyst, you will be the guide in articulating and delivering data insights and opportunities to our teams across the Swiss market who will address those as part of our commercialization strategies. This role is an enabler of the consumer centric & data-driven decision-making agenda within the PMSA organization by providing the business with clear and powerful data grounded insights giving the organization a competitive edge by connecting the dots and analyzing all available data sources across the organization. Be a key contributor to drive cultural transformation from a brand-centric to a consumer-centric organization through strategic priority setting that focus organizational efforts on delivering innovation for adult smokers by capitalizing on market trends and identifying long term opportunities. Your day to day: Become the enabler, go to person and trusted advisor of your partners by acting as a lead in cross-functional projects using sophisticated data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities Collaborate with main customers to define consumer and market intelligence needs to enable regular adult smoker trend understanding and measurement of new products and initiatives against business opportunities and performance objectives. Drive data extraction, analysis and synthesis that focuses both on strategic and executional priorities. Analyze & correlate data from multiple data sources to formulate action plans and longer-term strategies in collaboration with commercial team members. Provide concrete, strategically focused, evidence-based recommendations. You will be accountable for the end to end data analytics process when any commercial activity is deployed, from the data collecting process to the predictive modeling Insights: Provide market internal customers with insightful information about the RRP and the conventional business, constantly questioning how to improve the status quo, both reactively as well as proactively. Generate and contextualize consumer and market insights and translate them into practical business strategy and plans aligned with market priorities by adapting the data storytelling. You will present detailed analysis to experts and impactful digested insights to the Management Team Dashboards: Handle the availability of information at a user friendly, standardized and practical format for all partners. Develop dashboards with full critical metric tracking of commercial objectives and lead the development of new methodologies to support measurement of commercial initiatives and increase efficient use of resources (e.g. via automation). Ensure the accuracy, completion, relevancy & timeliness of your dashboards. Understand the needs and the business strategy to act as a key partner and force of proposition on the most impactful and relevant advance analytical models (predictive analytics) bringing the highest business value while being one step ahead of our consumers needs Anticipate the needs of the business and lead the identification of enhancements, improvements and/or new development of commercial information systems to drive competitive advantage and efficiency based on established business priorities. Evaluate recommendations/proposals to IT to ensure proper development of systems/tools to support analytical capabilities and maximize efficient use of resources. We’re looking for someone with: Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering Strong experience in a consumer/data insights role in a leading FMCG company is a plus Genuine interest for business and for consumers Strong analytical skills: ability to connect, interpret and present data to provide insightful and actionable recommendations Master data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau…) Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) or tools (Alteryx, KNIME,..) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets Strong data mining and data wrangling skills. Strong knowledge of data warehouse architecture Strong project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentations and coordination across teams A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques Strong team and collaboration spirit Fluent in both written and spoken English.
