Key responsibilities: Summary: Manager & support the deployment and performance of portfolio of consumables (RRP & CC – being more skewed to CC with an increase focus on CC portfolio) to drive awareness, acquisition and retention, and maximize value. Apply effectively the Consumer segmentation to identify Consumer needs in the local market, leveraging Consumer insights & analytics. a. Portfolio: Develop, agree and maintain a brand portfolio that is relevant to target consumers’ needs and sufficiently differentiated to that of the competitors to provide a competitive advantage. Continuously ensure the portfolio provides a pipeline of new offers and concepts with growth potential to meet latent, unmet consumer preferences. b. Portfolio: Lead the Brand Building team to develop comprehensive and strategic brand building plans that effectively lead to building brand wealth and maintaining brand equity in a restricted market, while effectively driving target consumers through the brand adoption model leading to a strong preference for PM brands. c. Control and organize key PMI stakeholders (RHQ & PMI Brand Building) to provide a clear vision of the PM Malaysia portfolio strategy to provide consistent and timely delivery of PM products and Global brand building initiatives. Act as a conduit between PM Malaysia & PMI to ensure brand building best practice initiatives are shared and leveraged. d. Brand Marketing: Design and implement holistic marketing plans across on- & off-line touchpoints, which should be aligned with the overall business objectives, include high level activities, guidelines and budget to drive pipeline, ensure consistent messaging, creative execution and measurable outcomes e. Trade Support: Plan and Develop innovative tools and platforms that embrace innovation and need the for brand conversations and involvement, while recognizing the complex, restrictive market conditions, these tools and platforms will lead to improved PM Malaysia brand awareness and trade support. Essential Skills and competencies: • Min. 7 years proven experience in Brand Building , Category Management; Portfolio Management; Concept Development • Solid commercial acumen & market & consumer awareness • Independent campaign management experience • Budget management ∙ Worked in consumer centric industry- FMCG, Hi tech etc. ∙ Analytics bent of mind and data driven decision making • Multichannel experience with Direct Retail, digital, indirect etc. • Influencing & Collaboration skills
