Purpose: Plan, organize, coordinate and oversee the maintenance process and activities in the assigned production area in order to ensure the production plan is carried out in accordance with set objectives and measurements (cost, quality, safety and compliance). Identify and implement mid/long term Maintenance and asset management strategies. Responsibilities: • MAINTENANCE STRATEGIES: Takes overall responsibility of defining and implementing the necessary strategies and programs to improve technical equipment capabilities in order to ensure equipment availability for production with good quality, low costs and safe operation. • PRODUCTION MAINTANANCE Define and implement the necessary strategies and programs to improve technical equipment capabilities in order to ensure equipment availability for production with good quality, low costs and safe operation. Ensure the short and long term preventive maintenance and repair schedules, in accordance with production plans, safety and quality requirements and cost objectives in order to maximize equipment availability. • HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety. Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. Ensures subordinates and contractors are fully aware and adhere to all EHS rules, policies and procedures. • PRODUCTION DOCUMENTATION & QMS SUPPORT Ensure that assigned production indicators (including any key manufacturing data and KPIs) are in a consistent manner correctly recorded across information systems and the required reports are available at hand for any type of analysis (including corrective actions) Review required procedures, work instructions and others Quality or Production supporting documents escalated to his level (i.e., process characterization, change control, qualification/validation reports, protocol testing ..) • MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Takes appropriate actions in order to optimize costs and to remain within agreed parameters (budget). Recruits, develops, motivates and manages the team performance, and ensures that team members have the competencies, capabilities and tools to consistently deliver on individual, team and strategic objectives. Defines and implement technical training strategy in order to support the required organizational development, ensuring that the required knowledge adheres to overall training plan and is aligned with the succession planning • CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT & PROJECTS: Continuously seeks to develop and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance process. Cooperates with entire Manufacturing organization or with other department teams in order to facilitate the introduction of new initiatives, projects and trainings in accordance with project plan, budgets and requirements. Leads the quality improvement programs within the area of expertise with a focus on quality excellence while ensuring best possible execution in term of cost, time and risks. Ensures that priorities are fostering improvements that fully support ongoing initiatives.
