About the Internship program This is an internship opportunity for university students, who are required to complete a mandatory work experience as part of their study curriculum. The organization provides the practical work experience, with defined timeframes and objectives driven by university and curriculum. The experience may include a research project and / Masters thesis. You will be joining the Testing Technology Development Team and be part of the next testing solution to #MakeHistory with PMI! You should have the following skills/experience (or in the process of obtaining): • Master (or bachelor) degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering • Engineering skills in mechanical design (CAD) • Basic knowledge in Controls and/or Automation: PLC, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc. • Experience with Data Acquisition (DAQ), e.g., NI DAQ system • Basic knowledge of robotics • Data Analysis: Statistical analysis and modelling, interpretation, and presentation • Basic knowledge of programming languages, e.g., Python, Matlab, C++, C# • Able to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken • Ready to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment that provides numerous on-the-job learning opportunities As an Engineer, we count on you to achieve these following tasks: • Develop autonomous physical testing applications • Explore technological solutions for lab automation for specific needs • Work with multi-functional teams and provide technical recommendations • Document findings and standard methodologies • Help to sustain lab processes, performance, and quality with new technologies • Analyze data collected from various sensors What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
