JOB DESCRIPTION • Use existing tools to build application performance monitoring, and observability solutions • Perform analysis and research to determine the opportunities to automate the processes of existing services • Follow and contribute to our internal frameworks, guidelines, and best practices. • Perform Analysis and Research to determine the weakness and strength of each platform and define the required monitoring activities and recommend performance enhancements solutions • Collaborate with Service Managers who are accountable for different platforms and solutions to fulfill the automation requirements • Engage with external and internal service providers to enable platform performance monitoring. • Support the service managers to automate the data collection solutions for building the IT Platform/Solution services quality metrics. • Understand and promote the Global tools and Operating model Qualification and Experiences: • 5+ years of experience in software development. • Experience in DevOps/SRE, with good knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles (e.g., SLIs, SLOs, error budget) with focus on monitoring and automation. • Deep knowledge and experience with any mainstream programming language/framework (e.g., Python, Java, C++), with strong understanding of good coding practices, database and SQL, and system architecture design. • Experience with Cloud Computing Services (e.g. AWS, GCP or MS Azure) and associated features such as VPCs, subnets, Availability Zones, Autoscaling and Load Balancing, Security Groups, Lambda etc.) • Good Knowledge of core technology concepts (Network infrastructure, Web technologies, Full stack, Serverless, frontend etc.) • Expertise on application monitoring and performance management tools (NewRelic, Datadog, ELK- Elastic Search) • System Load/Performance/Stress Testing experience preferred. • Experience with SNOW, JIRA etc. • Knowledge in IT governance and Software engineering practices • Knowledge in Information/Cyber security, Data privacy protection requirements and Continuity of Business management is appreciated JOIN A GLOBAL MARKET LEADER PMI is the world’s leading international tobacco company, with six of the world's top 15 international brands and products sold in more than 180 markets.
