You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ You will lead DIM sourcing activities to ensure availability of non tobacco materials at optimal cost while complying with PMI internal requirements and external market dynamics. You will lead category strategy development & deployment. You will manage vendor's performance though SRM. You will oversee compliance to environment, health and safety and enhance implementation of Sustainability program through leveraging on reliable collaboration with suppliers. Your responsibilities include: • Contribute to the definition of global DIM category strategies and vendor footprint taking into consideration regional business requirements and supply market trends to secure materials availability at optimal total cost of ownership and implement strategy in the region. • Define and implement DIM category strategies and vendor footprint for regional materials based on business requirements and supply market trends to secure material availability at optimal total cost of ownership. • Lead biddings and negotiations with regional category suppliers to ensure consistent productivity pipeline, supply network efficiency (on time in full, quality, TCO) and sustainability. Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with vendors/suppliers, leveraging know-how of the vendor/supplier market and global/regional cost base of assigned categories to achieve economies of scale. • Provide full and accurate DIM input into project feasibility checks, delivering comprehensive risk assessment. Act as Procurement element leader, propose and organize efficient procurement solutions during implementation of product related regulatory projects. • Implement holistic supplier relationship management through supplier onboarding/qualification, defining key aspects of performance, formulating and controlling principal initiatives aimed at supplier performance improvement corresponding to PMI expectations and strategy. • Ensure full compliance with local legislation and company policies and practices. • Identify and implement price and productivity initiatives for regional and global categories. • Take an active role in cross-regional optimization programs through sharing and implementing best practices. Ensure internal stakeholders understand the value of standardization & simplification and follow the standard & cost driven approach in their projects/developments. • Contribute to Responsible Sourcing Principles deployment providing process and performance requirements applicable to all suppliers doing business with PMI. Who we’re looking for You must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Supply Chain management (or related courses) and you have had at least 2 years of work experience in procurement with exposure to multinational environment. Background in Procurement and SC experience, financial acumen, IP literacy, Legal & Quality Operations fundamentals. You must also be amenable to work in BGC Taguig Office for a 1-year project contract.
