Are you the one? About the Center of Expertise PMI is establishing a new Finance Center of Expertise (CoE) in Portugal, focused on Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting. This new CoE’s goal is to support PMI Markets worldwide by developing an efficient, effective, capable and engaged organization with capabilities to collect, analyze and deliver information for fast, data-driven decision-making. As part of this Team, you'll work with a very dynamic, multicultural, and challenging group. You will contribute to key internal initiatives, collaborating closely with both internal and external partners and supporting PMI affiliates with new analytics solutions. You’ll be challenged to contribute with innovative ideas and work closely not only with your team, but the entire organization Your day-to-day As a Finance Systems Governance Intern, you will: • Embark on a global Finance Transformation Program that is reshaping the way we work • Help bridge the gap between Finance and IT, by bringing along functional and technical knowledge to finance transformation and digitalization projects • Ensure our worldwide Stakeholders are extracting the proper value from our data and application ecosystem • Engage in Finance Technology-related projects and contribute to deliver the expected business value • Support first level of analysis across market reports and prepare commenting • Design, rollout and continuously improve processes used within the Team and among the relevant Parties • Participate and support, where applicable, the way we make decisions on multi-functional changes (data, system, access security, administration and reporting content) • Ensure the overall governance around the data and application landscape Who we’re looking for: • Degree in Information Management; Information Technologies; Statistics and Econometrics; Business Analytics; Data Science; Computer Science; Finance and Business Management or similar; • Good communication skills: good ability to articulate and translate into action, technical and operational subjects; • Strong conceptual thinking and technology driven; • Advanced level of English spoken and written.
