You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ You will ensure stock optimization in all PMSA Distribution Centers by acting as the link between Operations and PMFTC Supply Planning Logistics in order to avoid stock-outs or overstocks. You will manage regional warehouses via 3rd party. You will also manage direct reports assigned per Sales Office within scope of region. Your responsibilities include: • Analyze daily brand sufficiency figures in DC in line with the changing sales trends and propose actions to Supply Planning & Logistics Management and Sales Planning & Development Departments when possible over stock or stock out positions are observed. • Accumulate and analyze the shipment requests from DCs and prepare shipment plans by considering the current stock levels, sales fluctuations, and production plans. Ensure the shipments are realized in line with the approved shipment plans. In order to manage optimum stock levels, build and maintain high level of communication between Primary Distribution / Strategic Planning and PMSA Sales and Distribution • Analyze and make proposals to improve supply chain & development system (in terms of reporting, IS systems etc.) in order to fulfill the current & future needs and to increase the efficiency and profitability. • Prepare inputs for the related District Supply Chain & Logistics overhead budgets and submit them to Supply Chain & Logistics HQ. Follow-up the actual expenses, take and propose necessary precautions in order to not to exceed the planned amounts. • Oversee warehouse operations of all sales offices within the scope of region. This entails oversight of all processes from Receiving to Loading/Unloading of finished goods in the warehouse. • Manage all Sales Logistics Inventory Analysts across all sites within the scope of region including all warehouse personnel from 3PL. Ensure that proper coaching, guidance and MAP reviews are given timely to all direct reports. • Support and implement transformation projects deployed by the organization that aims to improve warehouse operations and sales offices within the scope of region. Continuously monitor progress and provide hyper care until BAU. • Oversee and support during Sales office audit, CAD and Warehouse GAP assessment. This entails ensuring that all documentation and processes are always in place to prevent findings during audit debriefing/closing. Frequent visits to Warehouses are also required to ensure that they are well kept, and all facility related issues are reported on a timely manner. Who we’re looking for You must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Supply Chain management/Engineering (or related courses) and you have had at least 4 years of work experience in a logistics industry set up. Strong strategic thinking and mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data. You should have previous experience in managing direct reports. You should have experience in building relationships and networks with other functions and upper management. You must also be amenable to work in Mandaue Sales Office.
