We are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer who will work in İzmir/Torbalı and be responsible for the loss elimination activities under Production organization. This role will provide you the opportunity to understand the Manufacturing Loss Tree and may open the doors for a career in production environment as a seasoned problem solver. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Lead & Support the production team to generate the Loss Analysis from Line to Site level to define the recoverable and non-recoverable losses mainly on Tobacco & Non-Tobacco waste. • Lead & Support the production team to set the strategy and define master plan to eliminate the recoverable & non-recoverable losses. • Follow up and lead the Loss PDCA process in collaboration with different functions like Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering to complete the breakthrough initiatives on time to assure year on year improvement. • Ensure compliance of Secondary processes and equipment to safety, productivity, cost, quality, labor organization objectives through gap analysis of existing practices, methods, process parameters, equipment layouts and features etc. and further assessment, development and implementation of more effective ones in close collaboration with Maintenance, Operations Training, Quality and Engineering departments. • Control Secondary production technological process parameters and take appropriate actions in case of their incompliance to PM standards. Analyze Secondary work results and develop proposals on process improvement based on this analysis. • Identify short term and long term technical, technological, and organizational opportunities for improvement through continuous analysis of Secondary KPIs and other related data and, also, based on management input. • Propose to manager and / or assign direct and sub-divisions resources to conduct relevant studies, trials; to develop solutions and projects; implement plans, measure results and report on progress. Analyze Secondary work results and find the ways of finished goods costs reduction by cost saving and improvement of production equipment efficiency. • Provide guidance, leadership and coaching Secondary to production and maintenance staff to improve their working practices and procedures. Actively attend the regular Gemba walks. Follow-up and management of the team performance evaluation system This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile.
