The Challenge As a Retail Developer Islands @PMI you’ll be responsible to plan and execute the Territory initiatives (Third Party Account, Wholesalers, Retail and Consumer), according to the approved plan, budget and internal practices, in order to guarantee KPI accomplishment, namely in what regards to achieve HTS market share and IQOS penetration targets and protect PMI SoM in cigarettes market. Your ‘day to day’ • TERRITORY PLAN o Develop the plan for the territory by taking into consideration the full consumer journey, consumer and market data, competitive activities, trade structure, as well as required resources and expected results, in order to achieve HTS market share and iQOS penetration targets and in order to maximize PMI SoM in cigarettes market. o Define quarterly local PAR initiatives and/or tactical campaigns in order to comply with area plan guidelines. • EXECUTION - THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT o Ensure continued supervision, support and evaluation of Service Provider Account: "Contracted" FTE. o Responsible for deploying Indirect Retail activation plan, via "Contracted FTE", planning and managing for the execution of the visits, services and commercial relation with POS Staff/Owners. • EXECUTION - TRADE: RETAIL, WHOLESALE AND LOCAL KEY ACCOUNT o Trade: Implement territory plan Trade initiatives (namely trade programs, incentive campaigns, retail trainings), according to deployment guidelines and Area plan, in order to increase RRPs awareness and penetration considering the optimization of Heets availability and visibility as well as trade and consumer engagement. o Wholesale: Liaise with "Islands Go to Market Lead" to define WS quarterly objectives o Local Key Account: Responsible for negotiation and management of local key account chains. • NEGOTIATION o Foster profitable business relations with business partners: o Negotiating trade programs with touchpoint owners and staff for retail and LAMPS o Striving for endorsement and collaboration with Wholesalers and Wholesaler Representatives in order to promote Tabaqueira as a preferred business partner and responsible Company image. • ENGAGEMENT & TRAINING: o Ensure ongoing training is provided to business partner staff (Service Provider Account, Retailers and Staff) to upgrade knowledge regarding RRPs category, PMI brands, Consumer Segments to deliver a coherent and right message across adult smokers. o Influence Trade Partners to sell and communicate IQOS by exposing them to available set of rewarding and motivation tools. • KPIS & INSIGHTS: o Review and challenge the proposed territory KPIs and targets (IQOS Resellers, WS, Trade (Retail) and Consumer) up to final decision. o Execute the updates and ensure timely update of territory database (REEV) to ensure all data are accurate and valid. • CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT: o Ensure continuous scouting of opportunities to ensure and leverage on synergies across channels for the consumer. The ideal candidate would have: • University degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or similar • More than 3 years of professional experience in Sales roles (field as preferred). • FMCG experience and international environment will be a plus; • Excellent communication/inter-personal and influencing skills; • Strong Business Acuity and Drive for Results; • Proficient Portuguese and English spoken and written; • EU work permit.
