You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ As a Quality Engineer, you will provide quality support and expertise to other departments to achieve a high level of Quality material, product, and process. You would be responsible for initiating improvements related to processes and products, providing technical or analytical direction to solve quality issues. • Lead and coordinate change management process in the factory and ensure that validated state of the manufacturing processes, methods and systems is maintained. • Implement and maintain the control strategy for materials and semi-products including acceptance criteria for each incoming material in accordance with PMI guidelines, procedures and statistical tools for sampling and analysis. • Define, establish, and maintain a Quality Management System. Coordinate and support the establishment of related procedures supporting good manufacturing practices and approve all procedures. • Investigate in a timely manner non-conformities and deviation, leveraging on OPEN+ problem solving tools. • Establish a system to identify, record and evaluate internal or external quality complaints, and investigate and resolve critical deviations. Who we’re looking for You have at least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry. Advantage if you have advanced knowledge of International standards (ISO). Knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint is also preferred. You must also be amenable to work in shifting schedules in our Batangas Plant.
