You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ You will apply well-defined technical methods and work instructions to perform routine analyses and technical activities to ensure that all raw materials, semi-finished and finished products are appropriately measured and monitored. You will carry out calibration, verification and collaborative test on instruments and materials (Raw Materials, Finished Goods and semi-finished) to monitor the instruments and materials performances. Your responsibilities include: • Plan and perform tests and analyses (physical/chemical) on the quality of raw materials, tobacco, semi-finished and finished products according to applicable procedures and analytical methods. • Use, verify and calibrate Quality equipment as per PMI & ISO requirements, in due time, in order to ensure the accuracy of results. • Prepare and maintain logbooks according to QMS requirements. • Investigate and resolve deviations and contribute to defining when appropriate corrective actions leveraging on problem solving tools. • Analyze and participate in projects with influence on product quality. • Ensure compliance with QMS requirements and follow standards for accreditation 17025 and ISO 9001. • Identify and properly store the retention samples in complete respect of PMI Standards if available. Properly use all recording systems ensuring that they are adequately completed, and the data recorded can be used at any time for traceability. Who we’re looking for You must have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Chemical Engineering or related courses and you have had at least 1 year of work experience in the laboratory field (experience in QA or/and industrial field is a plus). Experience with International Standards (ISO) and Quality tools is preferred. You must have the Ability to transform data into information or reports.
