As District Manager – Tobacco and Vape (T&V) you will manage and coach a sales representatives team to grow our SFP (smoke-free products) market presence and conventional share of market in the North-West region of the Netherlands. These channels are the driver to create awareness on SFP’s in the Netherlands. You will contribute on the expansion of our IQOS focused stores and will have to stay/become the preferred partner for your retailer portfolio. Responsibilities of the role: • Leading your team to optimize team spirit, efficiency and achieving challenging results; • Being pivotal in the development of your team on both individual as well as team level; • Contributing to the national field sales strategy and translating this strategy into district plans, objectives and KPI’s for team and retail; • Stepping forward as the regional spokesperson for the retailers in your portfolio. • Deploying sales initiatives for product launches, retail-oriented activities and trade engagement programs in close collaboration with your manager, colleague district managers and back-office teams. Who are you: • Strong people activator who can manage & motivate a team of (5) Sales Representatives; • People connector both with internal stakeholders and your clients. • Data-driven, results oriented and continuous improvement mindset; • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment; • Knowledge on the Dutch retail (Tobacco) channel is a strong plus; • Fluency in English and Dutch is required; • The role involves frequent travel by car within the district and occasionally towards our Benelux headquarters based in Antwerp What will the selection process look like? Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. *Assessment Tests The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation. • Cognitive Ability Test: Report links under three headings: 1. Deductive reasoning (measuring the ability drawing logical conclusions) 2. Inductive reasoning (measuring conceptual and analytical thinking) 3.
