You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). Key Responsibilities 1. Material Management: • Ensure the performance of EMS and component suppliers and be their key point of contact on behalf of PMI Supply chain functions. • Continuous improvement and simplification of processes are key to ensure component availability and optimize inventory exposure for PMI. • Establish processes, procedures, and tools to achieve targets and objectives efficiently. 2. Inventory Governance: • Ensure governance process and all stakeholders adhere to process. • Retain documentation to ensure liability, traceability and audit compliance purpose Other responsibilities: • Handle material transitions cause by electronics communication network, quality issue, product transition to achieve and exceed targets and minimize inventory exposure. • Simulate scenarios and propose the best option for Project team to cut in engineering change. • Lead and evaluate risk buy plan. Optimize risk buy proposal to mitigate risk for the company and at the same time achieve fulfilment target. • Create process and systems to supervise overall EMS' material planning performance. • Ensure component readiness for production. Review weekly CTB (Clear To Build) with each EMS and resolve supply gaps. • Work with EMS to create visibility for PMI for any T2 capacity issue and propose alternative solutions in a timely manner. • Represent PMI to collaborate closely with T2 supply chain related issues. Leverage experience and Engineering skills to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve objectives through a cross functional team. • Reinforce Excess & Obsolescence Governance. • Support Planning Analyst on E&O analysis and reporting. • Partner with R&D, Quality, Engineering and Planning Team to explore opportunity to deplete excess inventory. • Lead/ Participate Supply Chain enhancement projects and Cross function projects with PMI internal leaders • Look for continuous improvement opportunities on current process. • Propose and support Improvement project and digitalization project to improve accuracy and efficiency for its area. We’re looking for someone with: • A Bachelor’s degree in area of Supply Chain/ Engineering/ Manufacturing Management. • Minimum 8 yrs or above working experience in Supply Chain organization/ Manufacturing Program Management/ Process engineering/ Operation in Electronic industry. Proven track record in Supply Chain (business planning, production planning, capacity planning) • Great teammate. Good in written, oral communication skills and presentation skills in English; preferable with bilingual language in Mandarin/Cantonese. Action oriented, Rational thought with sense of urgency, Problem Solving Attitude, Capable for working independently, Eager to learn and willing to listen for new ideas, Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment • Functional skills: Excellent MS Office skills particularly Excel – including creation & analysis of large database] and knowledge of Power BI is preferable What we offer Our success depends on the talents who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
