Your ‘day to day’ As a Process Engineer, you will ensure that processes and machinery standards are sustainable, correctly defined and properly documented. You will act as the SME for one defined technology and be the contact person for the Global CoE teams. You will work together with the technical staff within the area in order to fill the identified skills gap and develop the adequate technical expertise. Your responsibilities include • Ensuring compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. • Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS • Manage the technical / scientific knowledge related to their production area (Product & Process & Systems) in order to consistently support the floor and maintain a high level of expertise. • Support/Investigate in a timely manner non-conformities and trends. Liaise with concerned parties to find out the root cause and take relevant preventives/correctives actions. Ensure a proper follow up and reporting of open actions. • Lead complex process/system project from the definition of options/solutions (technical development/research) to the implementation and post projects monitoring. • Conduct Loss Analysis of key productivity KPIs and develop action plan to eliminate the gap • Communicate in timely manner on loss elimination priorities, plans and responsibilities to ensure cross-functional alignment. Who we’re looking for You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related courses). You have at least 2 to 5 years of experience working in a high volume consumer goods manufacturing company (supervisory experience is a plus). You are well-versed in Lean Manufacturing Practices (ie. TPM, IWS, IL6S, etc). You are driven, committed and passionate to level up standards and has strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills. Good communication skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint is also required. You must also be amenable to work in Batangas Plant.
