Purpose of the role: Manage Security & Market Safety activities in the market, and act as the key contact and counselor to affiliate (commercial) management for Security & Market Safety issues and/or initiatives; ensure full implementation of all Security & Market Safety programs, initiatives, and objectives to ensure that Company's people, business, assets and reputation are safe and secure. Key Accountabilities: • Leadership Drive implementation and compliance with Security & Market Safety strategies and programs for market. Directly or indirectly manage the local Security & Market Safety lead/organization for the market. Provide guidance and support to the local affiliate management teams, Security & Market Safety leads, and other stakeholders. Cascade Corporate objectives and set personal objectives. Ensure the local Security & Market Safety lead/organization has the right skills and has received sufficient training to perform their job(s). Business Alignment & Visibility Evaluate emerging business and operational models for potential Security & Market Safety risk exposure and gaps; highlight risks/exposures with Security & Market Safety stakeholders, including the Senior Manager, Security & Market Safety, and affiliate management. Identify and solve Security & Market Safety issues of affiliate relevance. Maintain situational awareness of the market, including external and internal risk exposure and incidents trends, to inform business decision-making processes. Maintain regular liaison with affiliate (commercial) management, other stakeholders, and functional peers to align Security & Market Safety strategies and service levels with company strategy and objectives. Ensure local Security & Market Safety leads engage with Sales departments and working tool/benefit cars drivers to ensure that fleet safety standards are understood and adhered to. • Program Delivery Perform functional assessments/reviews at the affiliate level; identify and address non-conformities. Oversee implementation of PMI market and fleet safety strategies and best practices in assigned markets. Develop protective measures, contingency plans and emergency response procedures. Ensure correct reporting of Market and Fleet Safety incidents/metrics; maintain quality control/oversight of root cause analyses and security- or safety-related investigations; review and approve corrective action measures and track/validate implementation. • Awareness & Training Ensure local delivery of: security, market safety, and fleet safety training/awareness programs--as per PMI and local regulatory requirements within the market, in order to build a robust and sustainable Security & Market Safety culture. Provide expert support to markets/affiliate management on tactical and practical emergency response management. Ensure local Security & Market Safety leads deliver relevant communication to employees at functional meetings, including security/safety briefs, alerts, instructions, and refreshers. Ensure local Security & Market Safety leads maintain up-to-date training records as per PMI requirements and applicable OHS and Safety legislation. • Organizational Development Develop the skills and capabilities of local Security & Market Safety teams and stakeholders through coaching and mentoring, to raise the necessary skills and knowledge across the market and S&MS function. • Share Best Practices Facilitate sharing of best practices from affiliates and markets. Involved in cross-market, cross-function, and cross-regional collaboration projects and initiatives. • Performance, Reporting & Incident and Emergency Response Management Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Security & Market Safety-related incident and events reporting. Review/consolidate related metrics and KPI, to provide focused and detailed reports; escalate trends and critical issues to appropriate levels of management. Oversee, develop, implement and manage test emergency response protocols in order to protect people, business, assets and reputation from natural and man-made disasters. Review and keep up-to-date protocols on a set basis. Manage security & market/fleet safety incident investigation, analysis, reporting and retain incident records in order to identify patterns, causes and provide guidance/ recommendations to prevent incident reoccurrence. Ability to mobilize as a part of a security/safety response team to incidents / events. • Third Party Service Providers Ensure quality of local third party service provider selection in conjunction with local Security & Market Safety lead. Ensure third party service providers' performance consistently meets requirements and standards, by developing a comprehensive KPI measurement and monitoring system, regular performance review, and effective reward/penalty mechanism, while at the same time maintaining effective coordination. Requirements: • Educational: College/University; Professional Certifications and/or Occupational Trainings • Work Experience: Minimum - 8 years in a corporate, operational security environment or related area, preferably in a cluster/sub-regional security/safety manager role or equivalent. Developed knowledge of specialist security systems & market safety tools, hands-on experience in dealing with national and international security issues. Working knowledge of OHS / NEBOSH best practices beneficial.
