【Purpose】 • Manage portions of logistics and inventory KPI • Manage operational excellence (continuous improvement such as efficiency/productivity improvement, cost savings/avoidance, etc.) • Manage logistics spend to an adequate level per annual approved budget 【Accountability】 • Oversee each assigned portion of B2C logistics operations to ensure operations go smoothly to achieve PMJ's internal KPI / internal agreed SLA • Oversee each assigned portion of B2B logistics to ensure timely and smooth operations • Identify potential risks and take actions • Manage exceptional handling (unexpected issues) • Hand over operational tasks to LSP • Create/Maintain SOP consisting of standard tasks and exceptional handling and implement to stakeholders including LSP • Make decisions on unexpected issues, align with, and instruct to LSP • Provide ideas for continuous improvement on logistics operations through thorough data analysis and implement upon alingment (build a business case for launching a project as necessary) • Keep track of budget on each responsible areas within logistics operations (both B2C and B2B) • Vendor management • Support on logistics-related projects • Support initiatives managed by other departments 【Education/Language】 • Degree • Japanese - Native (verbal, written & presentation) - Mandatory • English - Conversational (written, verbal & presentation) - Preferred 【Work Experience】 • 3+ years logistics experience in the relevant industry • Project manangement • Budget management • Operation improvement planning and execution • Vendor management 【Competencies】 • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and agile environment • Project management skill • Strategic thinking • Proactive and positive attitude to tackle and solve challenges with collaboration of others • Analytical skill and action to improve as-is state • Presentation skill • Stakeholder management skill • Multitasking capability • Problem solving skill • Vendor management • Excellent attention to details • Collaborator and enabler for collaboration across team 【Functional Competencies】 • Logical thinking: At any given occasion, it is mandatory to think logically towards each goal. • Process management: Review and/or develop operational process flow on current v.s. future. • Commercial approach: Always approach from consumer centric meaning need to think commercially. • Inventory control principle: Logistics knowledge/skills • Warehouse operations principle: Logistics knowledge/skills • Transportation operations principle: Logistics knowledge/skills
