YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: • Lead and ensure the implementation of local customs clearance strategies for all material groups, fully compliant with national and international legislations and in-line with PMI global strategies and company’ s practices and principles (P&P) in order to meet market service level requirements; participate in PMI worldwide programs; • Manage the relationship with governmental authorities on the local level and implement legislative changes; while keeping abreast of all international and national legislations; • Lead all governmental and corporate audits in order to get full compliance with national / international customs legislations / regulations to preserve the company image on the local level and for PMI • Conduct sustainable customs compliance risk assessments and build action plans; • Ensure that the strategies are set and properly managed regarding any local processes • Ensure that budget is prepared annually for the local logistics customs operations with a regular follow-up and reporting; • Organize, manage, and control the work of sub-ordinates (if any); motivate them and encourage their personal and professional development; • Ensure that the tools and relevant trainings are provided to the sub-ordinates regarding logistics, customs, and compliance, in order to transfer the required competency to support and maintain a compliant and well-managed logistics, tax, and customs environment on the local level; WE OFFER: • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, International Trade or similar, Master’ s degree is a plus • Minimum 10 years experience in Logistics area, and deep knowledge about local / international customs legislations / regulations and international trade agreements within a multinational environment, with a supervisory / managerial exposure • Functional: National and International Legislations, Third Party Management Relationship with Governmental Authorities, Compliance Risk Assessment, International Trade Agreements, Customs Operations & Documentation, Local and International Logistics Operations, Warehousing Processes, Control Tower Concept, and Inbound / Outbound Transactions. Relocation support is not available.
