Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed under Philip Morris Electronics Shenzhen (PMES). PMES operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert, an Engineer – CMF to facilitate the translation of short and long term Color, Materials and Finish (CMF) strategies into actionable technology programs, product implementation and industrialization projects. Responsibilities • Deliver technical expertise on CMF development to support the roadmap of electronic devices development. • Drive the planning of product development activities for CMF projects in collaboration with different stakeholders. • Supervise CMF detailed design and creation of technical specifications for electronic devices in collaboration with internal and external partners. • Supervise CMF validation testing of products and components in collaboration with design verification team and external partners. • Interact with and build effective relationships with external parties which are mandated for electronic devices development and manufacturing. • Support and assess CMF manufacturing suppliers as well as develop practices and processes in collaboration with them to best support the needs of development projects. • Support processes and tools improvement dedicated to the development of electronic devices. • Respect company Compliance Policies, standards and laws and ensure that external partners respect them as well. Ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature at any time. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design. Master degree preferred. • Minimum of 8 years design/engineering experience in a multinational corporation in the consumer electronics industry. • Experience of working in a cross-functional and cross-culture environment. • Experience in manufacturing and decoration processes of plastics, metals, ceramics, leather and textiles. • Experience in working with global manufacturing suppliers and high volume products. • Experience in managing/collaboration with external development partners. • Experience of managing development projects is a plus. • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is a must, and Cantonese/Mandarin a clear plus.
