Your ‘day to day’ We are looking for a SOLUTION ARCHITECT to be part of the IT Manufacturing team. As a Solution Architect, You will be responsible for the following: • Accountable to qualify and assess the Industrial Digital Demand from a technology, architectural, and engineering perspective. • You are owning the Solution Architecture shaping for Demand Intake, POV, MVP, Deployment, identifying the IT Platforms, Principles and Design Patterns, Technical Standards to be applied, and scouting and introducing new technologies if needed. • Accountable to manage the Technical-Debt and TCO optimization of the solutions owned. • Be part of the project delivery advising Product Owners and Solution Managers enforcing IT Guiding Principles and PMI practices • Ensure Non Functional Requirements are included in the Solution delivery pipeline/backlog and are prioritized according to their criticality. • Support implementation of PMI's Architecture Services and all related service portfolios at an IT product level, including documentation standards, to support current and future business needs. • Develop, document, and maintain the key business & process area-specific application, technology, data, and security architecture for an IT Product to meet business needs while ensuring the alignment with standards and environment. • Analyze, plan and manage the overall roadmap for IT products in the respective domains; and periodically publish the respective product roadmaps. • Drive projects implementations of Digital Products and Solutions, supporting and advising related Product Owners . • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product functionality and its dependence on release levels through research in domain-specific industry trends and developments. • Collaborate with PMI global/affiliates to develop RFI and RFP documents and participate in reviewing vendor submissions and preparing recommendations that meet PMI requirements, including compliance with established standards and best practices. • Conduct periodic discussions on selected topics for specified products aiming to form Interest groups in propagating Principals, Standards, and Roadmaps.Enforce cross-solution collaboration and reusability of existing practices and building-blocks • Enforce DevOps, PlatOps, TechOps practices and culture adoption and support Teams in achieving engineering practices excellence. • Advise senior IT platform and business stakeholders on Technology, Architecture, and information integration strategies. • Used to work with Architecture repository tools (e.g. LeanIX) Who we’re looking for • University degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience • 8 years of professional experience in IT Project Delivery in Consulting, ISV, Cloud, Manufacturing, Pharma Industries • Exposure to an international environment, with a proven track record in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment • Hands-on experience in end-to-end system design • Mastering cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) architectures and ecosystem • Understanding of Industry 4.0 • Hands-on experience in Industrial IoT Solution design • Mastering Enterprise Integration practices (SOA, Microservices, ESB, ETL/ELT, Service Mesh, API) • Proficiency in manufacturing technologies and themes (IT/OT Convergence, Purdue Model, Industrial Protocol, OPC DA, OPC UA, PLC vs Equipment vs Devices vs Sensor) • Hands-on experience with integration standards SOAP, REST, WS*, JWT, AMQP, MQTT and FTP • Hands-on experience with AWS platform (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Security, AWS Lambda, AWS EKS, AWS IoT Greengrass, AWS AppSync, etc.) or equivalent services in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. What would be really nice to have • Proficiency in architectural frameworks and modeling techniques (TOGAF, Archimate. BPML, UML) • Understanding of manufacturing processes and practices (Make2Sell, Make2Stock, Lean, Loss Reduction, Demand Planning and Scheduling, Factory Logistic, etc.), and reference models (ISA-95, RAMI 4.0, etc. ) • Understanding Data Modelling, Master and Meta-Data, Datawarehouse domains (e.g., Inmon, Kimball, Data-Vault, Data-Mesh) • Exposure to Identity and Access Management (SSO with SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth) and Authorization with RBAC/ABAC modeling • Understanding of Machine-Learning key practices (Features Extraction, Model Inferencing, Data Discovery) • Understanding of SAP technologies (e.g., PI, BODS, Transactions and Tables) • AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).
