Your ‘day to day’ Reporting to a member of the Management Team, a Sustainability Manager is required to help build and drive coherence and consistency in our approach to Sustainability Strategy & Reporting. The sustainability manager will be responsible for localizing PMI’s global sustainability strategy, aligning and contributing to the achievement of global goals, and coordinating local reporting. Further, the Sustainability Manager will build up internal expertise on various valuation methodologies, building the business cases for sustainability programs/initiatives. To deliver on his/her remit, the manager will liaise and lead engagement with key internal stakeholders in commercial, finance, IT, sustainability, procurement, and other operational functions, and support external engagements and communications as appropriate. Your main missions will be as followed: • Lead the internal sustainability governance processes, maintaining local management team up do date and prioritizing topics to respond to local needs, expectations, and impact. • Ensure that local initiatives contribute to global strategic goals and related KPIs, and that local sustainability strategies aligns with global approach • Support local functions in the implementation of global programs, as appropriate, and work with the members of PMF organization, to refine current and define any new metrics in line with our Global sustainability strategy. • Ensure that local policy developments that can affect our business are proactively integrated into strategy and plans to reinforce preparedness and respond appropriately to mitigate risk, improve business efficiency, and build reputation and trust • Coordinate local sustainability reporting initiatives, integrating current and future regulatory requirements with regards to mandatory ESG performance and disclosures, as well as other communications and public interventions related to sustainability, to ensure consistency with global strategy • Gather and verify data to perform the reporting and trend analysis on defined Sustainability KPIs to report on and challenge action plan progress • Identify sustainability success factors, opportunities, and risks, enabling integrated strategies and conducting financial analysis for sustainability projects • Challenge all our future investments based on relevant sustainability KPIs • Support the corporate annual reporting process, by gathering and verifying the data quality • Support PMF team to identify opportunities & gather accurate data for the different certifications • Drive training and support to improve data consistency and viability with the different PMF department stakeholders • Responsible on the continuous improvement of our data reliability What we are looking for Graduate of a master’s degree from a business school or university, you have min. 5 years of experience in Corporate Sustainability within a corporation or consulting group, &/or Audit, preferably in an international context. Good knowledge of external reporting standards and the wider reporting landscape trends (integrated reporting, TCFD implementation, SDGs, Natural and Social Capital etc). Demonstrated experience and passion for shaping and working on sustainability content delivery within a company or consulting environment. A love of robust data and tenacity to track down missing data while also being able to focus on what is material and accept extrapolations and estimations were necessary. Autonomous and rigorous, you are recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills and your concern for confidentiality. Endowed with excellent collaborative communication skills and experience working across all levels of an organization including with senior management. Curious, you like to take initiatives and tackle a variety of subjects. You are comfortable with changing context and know how to adapt.
