We are looking for a Manager, Portfolio Marketing to join our team in Hong Kong office. You will be required to have the right to work in Hong Kong to be successful in your application Your ‘day to day’: At Philip Morris Asia Limited (“PMAL”), Philip Morris International (PMI) affiliate in Hong Kong, you will report to the Portfolio Strategy manager, be responsible for signing off marketing content by reviewing and making sure it is compliant and objectively of a high standard before release. You will also be devising, deploying and optimizing content & brand strategy, ensuring compliance to this strategy across all touchpoints. On top of this, a key aspect of this role will be maintaining the brand guidelines for PMAL, ensuring they are up to date with global toolkits, as well as local best practice. Thus, ensuring all our marketing content is always on brand and consistent. In this role you will be identifying and leveraging new opportunity and marketing channels to grow our portfolio market share and brand awareness. With this, the role requires a data driven mindset to work closely with market research team. You will be required to develop and implement powerful short and long-term portfolio strategies and ensure effective execution of plans to achieve commercial objectives. In specific, Excel in portfolio strategy: • Proactively analyze market, consumer trends, and competitive landscape. • Assess growth opportunities for new product launches. • Define integrated product portfolio roadmap in alignment with PMI innovation pipeline. • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial Planning to project business opportunities and devise relevant pricing strategies. Master consumer insights: • Identify critical brand-specific research needs in coordination with Market Research & Consumer Insights (MRCI). • Generate valuable insights, enhance brand appeal, and propose actions to improve portfolio competitiveness Facilitate seamless product introductions: • Follow PMI Innovation process and secure stage-gate approvals for new product introductions. • Communicate progress updates and identify alternative solutions for bottlenecks. • Partner with PMI Operations and Marketing to research and develop design modifications and prototypes. Lead exciting portfolio projects: • Spearhead strategic projects (new product launches, etc.) from idea generation to go-to-market (GTM). • Ensure products, pricing, and propositions are defined to improve value generation. • Secure full approval of all executions in line with local regulations and internal policies. Finally, this role will also support by delivering key marketing campaign materials. Working closely with commercial activation team and agency, this role will support by developing content on some key campaigns. This will involve writing briefs, managing agencies, assessing creatives and delivering assets with the objective to deliver newsjacking opportunities to help drive WOM around the portfolio and brand. Who we’re looking for- someone who is • Passionate about consumer needs and expectations, someone who has a strong consumer knowledge, insight & analytics and can turn these into actions. • Having a concrete understanding of marketing and digital & consumer engagement. You’ll have experience in planning integrated marketing communications, including content marketing • Creative about your approach and demonstrate curiosity in diverse ways of thinking to create new ideas to benefit our consumers/ customers • Working proactively to find solutions to problems, seeking continuous improvement and is not afraid to take calculated risks and who can adapt to changes quickly • Able to build strong relationships and networks internally and externally and influence and guide decisions • A College/University Degree owner in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics • Having min. 8 years of experience in Marketing in a multinational company (FMCG preferred) • Proficient in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) What we offer: Our success depends on our talents who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
