One clear purpose - to deliver a smoke-free future. Times are changing at PMI. We’ve chosen to do something big. The world expects us to act responsibly. And we are doing just that by transforming our business by building a smoke-free future. With huge change, comes huge opportunity. So, wherever you join us, you’ll enjoy the freedom to dream up and deliver better, brighter solutions and the space to move your career forward in endlessly different directions. Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. We’re fast moving from a B2B to a B2C model – and our newly created Customer Centric Organization (CCO) team is driving that commercial transformation. Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products. Purpose of the Position: We have an opportunity to join our team in Spain and experience a great working environment and development opportunity as Lead Strategy and Program Delivery. With a growing SFP business, a strong presence as CC market leader, and a large manufacturing footprint, this role will contribute to the continued growth of our business as a member of the Strategy & Program Delivery Team. You will contribute to the development of a sound strategic plan for Spain by coordinating (together with key BD&P partners) strategy planning, development and delivery for the affiliate and ensuring alignment across functions. You will contribute to the translation of strategy into a set of cross-functional initiatives, supporting the creation of program architecture and portfolio management. You will carry out regular analysis to identify any business insights, opportunities and risks to secure the successful execution of the affiliate’s strategy. Key Accountabilities STRATEGY: Support market strategy development, and co-ordinate key strategic planning processes (including global and regional cycles). Ensure alignment across functions to define key strategic priorities. Drive the preparation of business updates and strategy reviews to MT and Regional stakeholders. OGSM’s: Drive the implementation of OGSM’s across the organization and follow up accordingly. Support MD and HoF’s to create OGSM’s, and regularly track and report on progress to MT. Collaborate with BD&P, CI and Commercial Planning teams to understand and communicate the main drivers behind any variance of actuals vs. targets. Program architecture and delivery: Contribute to the formulation of a portfolio of programs and projects that will deliver the affiliate’s strategic priorities. Implement a KPI framework that is anchored to OGSM principles. Ensure that every project has a clear set of KPI’s which are linked to overall strategy and OGSM’s, and work together with PM’s to regularly track project KPI’s and report on progress through appropriate governance forums. Portfolio prioritisation: Verify the fit of all projects and BAU initiatives with the market strategy. Carry out strategic analysis on the full program/project portfolio in order to drive focus on the most impactful initiatives that will deliver strategic priorities and ultimately OGSM’s. Perform ROI assessments of initiatives to enable more effective prioritization, using rigorous and consistent ROI methodology. Analysis: Together with PM’s, perform accurate and timely analysis on project KPI’s and deliverables to be shared with Project Owners. Analyse any variations and provide insights to Governance Board on drivers behind deviations, and impact to overall Strategy execution and OGSM’s achievement. Collaborate with Finance Team partners (BD&P, B&R) to identify, manage and escalate portfolio risks and opportunities, and their impact on the affiliate income statement (both cost and revenue for RF and OB). Ensure regular and timely reporting to the relevant stakeholders and forums. Management presentations: Prepare presentations for MT and Regional Business Reviews, liaising with all departments to ensure accurate and appropriate content. Stakeholder management: Liaise with project/initiative owners and build trustworthy relationships with all related stakeholders (mainly financial and commercial partners at both market and regional levels).
