Senior Manager P&C Data Governance

As a Senior Manager Data Governance, you will set a strategic direction to drive consistent and proper handling of P&C data across the business enterprise. Additionally, you will work closely with EAD and P&C Data Owners to define the relevant roadmaps addressing prioritized data issues and lead the implementation of data management practices with the necessary foundation, strategy, and structure. You will engage P&C Leadership Team (Data Owners), Delivery lines (Data Stewards) and P&C Business Partners (local Data Owners) to follow and adhere to the framework established with collaboration with Enterprise Analytics and Data (EAD). WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • University degree in Technology, Science, Engineering or equivalent • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a similarly scoped data management role • Deep familiarity with data architecture and information system design principles • Understanding of data governance and ownership principles and frameworks • Excellent documentation and communication skills, capable of engaging different levels of seniority across Business, IT and Analytics • Exceptional aim to create and improve • Excellent stakeholder management • Fluency in English WHAT WE OFFER YOU? • Private medical and dental care, life insurance • Company car or car allowance • Subsidized meals (Sodexo card) • Cafeteria Program with Multisport card • Hybrid work opportunity and flexible working arrangements • Employee pension plan • Wide range of trainings, optional language classes, further education, and professional qualification support possibility • Free bike and car parking for all employees HOW WILL YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • Define and lead the implementation of Data Governance strategy for P&C function • Support and work closely with Data Owners to establish Data Governance framework, process, and drumbeat for each data category • Execute process of creating definition and intended usage of each data asset, including creation, change, and maintenance process • Ensure the implementation of data management standards and policies • Set and maintain effective data policies and standards specific to their assets where applicable • Define record retention rules for the data asset owned and review them yearly with Legal • Drive organizational alignment to the P&C Data Governance framework, embed the related accountabilities into business roles of P&C BPs of Markets, Functions and Regions • Make connections between other departments and P&C data and have full understanding of data related dependencies and impact; influence decisions to ensure that data is handled in ways that support the overall goals of the organization • Ensure ongoing support with data related matters by defining training needs and needed interventions Please note that only on-line applications will be taken into consideration.
