As Procurement Executive you will be leading the sourcing activities for assigned products and services, to achieve the lowest total cost and minimizing risks for the local market while ensuring company quality standards are met. YOUR DAY TO DAY • Reviewing and defining along with customers their business requirements in terms of products/services needs and related standards of quality in order to establish the appropriate sourcing strategies for the assigned categories. • Contributing to the definition, formulation and implementation of coherent sourcing strategies, Principles & Practices for the assigned categories based on business requirements and supply market trends in order to drive economies of scale and secure best total cost of ownership. • Assessing vendors and evaluating their products, services, capabilities and potential synergies and drive strategies towards efficiency improvement in the procurement process. You will be conducting internal and external market research, evaluating findings, making evidence-based decisions, and recommending on procurement matters. • Analyzing current products/services portfolio and supplier base in order to identify cost savings and synergy opportunities and further consolidate the sourcing strategies of the Purchasing function, primarily for local categories. • Improving business relationship with internal customers and suppliers by conducting regular reviews to ensure customer requirements are communicated to suppliers and expected targets in terms of performance and products/services quality are met. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • University/College degree in Arts, Science or Engineering. • 3-5 years of relevant experience. • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience in Procurement field, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations. • Previous experience in CPG is an asset • Bilingual: French/English is an asset.
