Your ‘day to day’ You will work as a 12 months’ fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Hong Kong. You may be required to be engaged by a 3rd party service provider to be assigned to work at PMAL. You will play a very meaningful role in the Global Reverse Operations teams in implementing the department's strategy by extending the reach of the Reverse program to all markets (70+ globally), to achieve the PMI Sustainability targets on recycling, waste management and refurbishment. With detailed knowledge on Reverse Operations, Reverse Logistics & Sustainability on electronic goods, you will lead relevant activities which involves local and global regulatory frameworks, legal, sustainability, logistics, IT, finance, operations, contractual deployment…etc. to ensure that all local markets can ship devices for Repair and Recycling to our central Reverse Operations Hubs located in different regions. • As Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert, drive extension of the Reverse Operations program to local markets where we have market presence of the electronic devices by guiding a cross-functional local and central team through the requirements of handling, transporting and processing returned electronic devices for the purpose of inspection, repair and recycling. • Ensuring the handling of shipment is compliance to all relevant regulations, logistics readiness (contracts, licenses, systems) until the first shipment of returned devices is performed. • As a Subject Matter Expert to lead relevant projects and activities, develop/ fine tune standard methodologies; deploy right tools, systems, processes and communications platforms to increase efficiency. • Assist central Legal, Sustainability & Supply Chain teams in strategies and compliance process setup as per area in reverse operations. • Provide regular reporting on the status of the projects to senior leadership team of PMI, and relevant collaborators and the management. Monitor and lead tasks and activities maintaining them within the planned timing. Who we’re looking for • Bachelor degree holder in Supply Chain / Business administration / Sustainability, or equivalent expertise. • Experience leading cross-functional international projects, as well as taking care of Legal, trade, logistics and compliance matters. • Experience in projects/ operations on recycling, refurbishment and sustainability projects, and/or with consumer electronic goods is highly preferred. • Experience running operations and handling budgets. • Knowledge of electronics product life cycle, end-of-life programs and logistics flow. • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Strong project management and data analytical skills, learning agility, good interpersonal skills. • Able to travel if requested (limited and not more than 20%).
