You will work as a 12 months’ fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Hong Kong. You may be required to be engaged by a 3rd party service provider to be assigned to work at PMAL. You will be leading the data analytics of quantitative and qualitative research to facilitate strategic priority setting in business strategies and execution excellence, you will support, coordinate and deploy global tracking tools in East Asia, Australia & New Zealand (EA&A), as well as running in-depth diagnostic research / analysis into prioritized topics, to enable stakeholders to focus on the most pressing consumer needs by connecting the dots through different data sources. Responsibilities: • Support the execution excellence of tracking insights for EA&A markets by leading the data integrity of PMI’s international market research tracking tools to ensure quality execution, meaningful insights being delivered and deployed to drive business impact. • Lead consumer insights and analytics projects in EA&A markets (e.g. Australia and New Zealand) with offshore support model from Hong Kong by guiding external research partners to ensure consumer research are implemented according to the agreed quality, cost and timeline as well as research objectives are being answered in full. • Follow the Insights agenda on key business objectives for bigger business impact and apply analytical techniques to bridge insights across different data sources to synthesize knowledge and advise key business decision. • Have in-depth understanding of the difficulties along the Customer Journey that feed into actions, further research or agile-lead projects. • Ensure all research projects, activities and analysis are fully compliant to procurement and legal guidance. Who we are looking for • Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistic or Business Administration. • 7+ years work experience within marketing research in research agencies or FMCG companies. • Research experience in FMCG or tobacco segment especially is highly preferred. • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodology experience including tracking and panel-based studies • Has strong customized research experience to lead ad-hoc projects • Good listening skills and able to articulate ideas and thoughts in the impactful way to deliver insights • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
