You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). Key Responsibilities • Handle short/ medium term planning drumbeat process and its related day-to-day operational issues. Collaborate with any related business partners to optimize/balance global demand and supply as well as to meet output reliability target. • Take lead in the discussion, communicate and align with stakeholders on supply related issue such as capacity and materials constraints; • Supervise on time delivery of EMS/ODM/OEM as per agreed shipment plan and review their operational performance; • Monitor the required production is installed as well as reserving enough materials to meet forecast; • Collaborate with stakeholders in optimizing supplies aiming at minimizing out of stock via balancing/prioritizing supplies among countries/variants. • Continuously improve the quality of the result in terms of timing, data accuracy cover PIPO, Special/Limited Edition and running version. • Collaborate with materials planning team to visualize the materials shortages overview and highlight the shipment impact towards business partners. • Support continuous improvement project to achieve operational excellence. • Maintain and follow up with related parties to ensure Standard Operation Process has followed. • Handle suppliers' performances to ensure standards, adhere to the flexibility rule, prioritize supplies to meet urgent markets and ensure suppliers meet the output reliability. • Collaborate with assigned suppliers in developing improvement plans to meet business dynamics. • Review new shipment plan on a weekly base (Short Term Planning process) and order placement with respective suppliers. • Clear order placement for fresh build after considering the inventory on rework and return shipments • Collaborate with suppliers to understand their component/capacity constraint and offer advice to optimize the supplies to fulfil markets’ need • Ensure suppliers having a quality overview on the materials shortage that enable PMI to assess the shipment impact and highlight issues in management review meeting • Work with cross functional team to remove/minimize the constraints and get the optimize supply • Review analytical report & give highlight on exception case (i.e., deviation on PIPO mismatch on timing, volume & launch time deviation on Limited Edition…) • Rationalized the air-freight request and adhere to proper approval process • Support the medium-term planning (MTP) process: • Work with Seniors to review the Excess due to plan change and review with suppliers if agreed action is in place to minimize the excess • Collaborate with capacity planner to ensure the sourcing strategy is adhered and enable a smooth transition during resourcing. It is key to minimize blocking issues and ensure the stability of the capacity in line with the strategy throughout the short-term horizon • Handle the return shipment process due to quality issues raised by market and quality teams; collaborate with NPI team on markets return and reflect the reworked shipment in system as per agreement Who we’re looking for • University degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineer/ Business Statistics • Minimum 4 years or above working experience in Supply chain on areas of Demand & supply planning, detailed understanding of end to end supply chain process, having exposure to multinational & electronic environment are preferable. • Good communication skills in both written and spoken languages in English, preferable with bilingual language in Mandarin / Cantonese. • Committed, good problem solving skills and capable of working independently • Eager to learn and open to new insights, flexible and adaptable in a changing environment • Functional skills: Good knowledge in planning tool (i.e. SAP or E2Open); • Excellent MS Office skills [particularly Excel – including creation & analysis of large database] and knowledge of Power BI is preferable What we offer Our success depends on the talents who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
