YOUR DAY TO DAY You will be joining our People Analytics Data Science team which provide data science capabilities and outstanding innovation to our projects at a global scale, apply advance analytics and strategic insights to help the business make better decisions on its most important aspect: it’s people. In this role, you will analyze, model, test, build and communicate outcomes that provide insights and lead to data-driven recommendations across the business. To be successful in this position you need to exhibit a great passion for discovering patterns and solutions hidden in large set of data, a sound knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and machine learning algorithms, and an interest in people, Human Resources, or behavioral science. In this role, you will be • Working within a team of data scientists, researchers, strategy consultants and HR professionals to build data products that help understand and solve strategic people problems. • Framing business problems into hypothesis, using experiment design to evaluate them, and providing a solid understanding of statistics to the team. • Performing exploratory data analysis, visualization, and model preparation to create actionable outcomes. We have all the necessary tools and technology to back up your algorithms and tests. You will be collaborating in your coding with other Data Scientist, so we expect you to follow good programming practices. • Monitoring the outcomes of your algorithms and improving them as they go through their lifecycle. • Documenting your work and generating and assisting presentations of results. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines. • A 3-year of hands-on experience building solutions for business problems using advanced analytics and machine learning. • Sound knowledge in best-in-class Machine Learning algorithms, statistical principles, and techniques. • Solid good-practice programming skills with Python for productive environments. Version control system at user level is required. • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI is currently used at PMI) desirable but not required. • Good presentation skills. • Elevated level of respect for and ability to handle confidential and sensitive data. Artificial Intelligence data governance and ethics. • Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory.
