Joining Technology & Platform Engineering The Technology & Platform Engineering is a group of IT experts who are passionate about ushering PMI into a smoke free future through technology. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • A University degree (Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent) with additional certificates, degrees or experience in IT • 5-8 years of professional experience in IT Project delivery • Fluent English in writing & speaking • IT Product ownership experience • Solid experience in Windows Server 2016+, Linux Centos 7 and Linux Ubuntu • Solid experience in source code management tools like Bitbucket, Gitlab Administration and CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript (for vRO), REST API, with shown ability with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, and repository tools like Artifactory • Knowledge in Commvault integration to vSphere and vRA • Knowledge in Programming / Querying SQL databases, PostgresSQL • With experience in working with a DevOps culture, following Agile Software Development methodologies of Scrum and/or Kanban • With strong interpersonal skills including creative thinking, attention to detail, collaboration, teamwork, and a drive to learn and succeed • Experienced person with testing frameworks, performance testing, and unit testing • Excellent analytical and time management skills but also teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude • Experience with product Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • Will work as a member of a solid scrum team which develops, support and operates a set of services which provide the backbone of a rich ecosystem of DevOps tools used in modern Private Cloud native development and operations • Contribute and collaborate closely with Product Owner in shaping vision and maintaining the roadmap for SDI\EDGE IT PMI cloud products • Drive project delivery advising Product Owners and Solution Managers enforcing IT Guiding Principles and PMI practices • Continuously monitor implemented processes for PMI private cloud (SDI\EDGE) products, seek opportunities for improvement, propose and drive their implementation in accordance with Product Owner to improve the user experience. • Participate with PMI global/affiliates in reviewing vendor submissions and preparing recommendations that meet PMI requirements, including compliance with established standards and best practices. • Conduct periodic discussions on selected topics for specified products to form Interest groups in propagating Principals, Standards, and Roadmaps • Will take an active step in designing and guiding the development of new services for our platform. • Will be responsible for the Design, Install, Configure, Manage, Integrate, Troubleshoot, and create automations process for: o VMware vSphere 7.0, ESXi , vCenter , vSAN; NSX-V & NSX-T o vRealize Automation 7 / 8 (vRA); vRealize Orchestrator 7 / 8 (vRO); vRealize LogInsight (vRLI) • Will be responsible for operation and license management closely with principal vendors (VMware, Infoblox)
