THE OPPORTUNITY Job Description The scope of the position is to Plan and manage the Transport Planning & Customs activities and workload, ensuring all business objectives are met, like fulfillment of internal customer expectations as well as key performance measures achieved. Responsibilities • Organize, manage and control all Transport Planning & Customs activities in order to ensure effective and efficient achievement of business objectives and market requirements. • Continuously monitor applicable KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure Budget and internal business targets are met. • Manage the Transport Planning in order to ensure timely shipment to the external customers and that all flows are compliant with safety, fiscal, custom and quality procedures. • Manage and control all the customs related activities in and out of the factory (national or international) in order to ensure that all the flows are effected in a timely and cost efficient manner and according to PMI standards • Manage, motivate and develop team to ensure that performance levels, team objectives and professional development are continuously met. • Improve the performance of the team by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements, assessing training needs and providing development opportunities to maximize organizational and individual capabilities. • Reinforce and adapt a process-oriented structure with continuous optimization of manpower and equipment. • Participate in new business developments to evaluate impact on existing logistics infrastructure (warehouses, product flows and systems). • Propose improvement ideas to continuously improve current business status for the activities in scope • Ensure that Supply Chain procedures are reviewed in order to comply with PMI standards and practices, as well as local legislation Education and professional desired experience • Master degree in Supply Chain, Economics or Business Administration • 2-5 years of experience in Logistics / WH Management; • Strong communication skills, result oriented, • Solid understanding of key Supply Chain processes, including Understanding of Customs processes. • Fluent level of written and spoken English and Dutch (preferred).
