Domain Architecture: To commercialize and expand our new reduce risks products, we are building and rolling out globally a new IT platform. Our consumer and retailer engagement platforms provide the best consumer experience in the end-to-end consumer journey from product discovery, commerce, device registration to after sales. Domain architects oversee technology definition for new capabilities, improving and simplifying current landscape and ensuring platforms non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance or extensibility. As a regional role, you will have to use your eye for business to differentiate where convergence toward core and common capabilities makes sense and drive to differentiating capabilities only when needed. Thus, driving a consistent portfolio while supporting local agility. Role profile You lead the regional domain architecture of our consumer and customer engagement including web, ecommerce, face-to-face engagement, and customer care both B2B and B2C. You will be forward looking by engaging early with the region and markets and align with the central business design leads to define missing and differentiating capabilities. Drive the local convergence and perform necessary governance global/local to provide the IT technology options to fulfil at best the needs. This requires both broad and deep technical understanding as well as eye for business with strong collaboration skills. Your mission requires horizontal leadership to communicate, convince and get things done with multiple delivery teams and high demand from local markets. Part of your job is to drive the platforms roadmap but also day to day to coach solution design made for differentiating capabilities. You will reflect on and ensure technical improvement for non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability or easy of extensibility (e.g. a global platform with local requirements). You will also support other central function when needed, especially for local rollout of global solution. You are relentless in your pursuit of excellence, even when that means challenging the status-quo. You take pride in the enablement and delivery of groundbreaking consumer apps and e-commerce solutions, championing the development and adoption of those in PMI. Responsibilities • Engage with PMI markets (countries) to simplify and drive synergies on IT portfolio, core capabilities and technology • Govern tactical initiatives in short medium terms and influence strategic direction for PMI’s digital engagement. • Engage with central IT and business partners to articulate strategic improvements to the platform. • Define differentiating capabilities, roadmap, architecture & design to adopt while building on our engineering cloud platform and extending core capabilities. • Handle the local IT landscape to drive Application Rationalization in the region, finding opportunities to consolidate into Global Platform solutions and ensure the management of the TechDebt. • Review and approve regional/local solution design with your regional engineering and delivery peers so that local development adheres to global standards and practices including more specific IT Consumer guardrails to ensure, for example, portability, reusability, and scalability. • Collaborate with global Enterprise Architects and domains architects to ensure alignment of local architectures with enterprise and domains architectures and roadmaps • Have a broad view of industry developments and latest technologies, articulating their application to PMI’s digital engagement. • Foster strong collaboration between each team including business strategy, design leads, solution managers across B2B, B2C, IOT and Omni-channels at a global/regional/local level. Skills and experience • 10+ years’ experience in architecture work in a large FMCG environment • Demonstrated ability in building, launching and growing products • Deep expertise on eCommerce, customer care, customer engagement and related capabilities such as fraud, loyalty, payment, chat bot, etc. • Experience working with consumer apps with global geographical deployment • Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals • Consistent record in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments • Organizational skills to work on multiple initiatives with tight deadlines effectively • Phenomenal teammate with validated ability to lead through influence What’s in it for you?
