Your ‘day to day’: As a Process Engineer you will be part of our Operations Department at Triaga Inc. a fully owned subsidiary of Philip Morris International and will report to the Industrialization Manager. The position will be based in Wilson, NC. Your Responsibilities: • Manage and ensure that processes, scientific knowledge (product, process & systems) and machinery standards are sustainable, correctly defined, properly documented and communicated to peers, superiors. • Act as the SME for: internal and external audits, defined technology and be the contact person for the Global CoE teams • Act as Key system user for production related to Information System, developing instruction and training for utilizing the information systems in production. • Act as an expert and support for all queries related to the product / process / systems used in production in adherence with OPEN+ pillars & system • Coordinate complex process/system projects from technical development/research to the implementation and post projects monitoring • Ensure traceability and compliance by initiating a change management when required, including follow up • Lead/coordinate or participate in special project teams to improve overall factory performance and foster the implementation of global initiatives. • Provide support to the production team and ensure that the documentation used during the production is managed according to the QMS. • Create / review documents that cover designated production processes (i.e. : process flow diagram, process risk assessment, process control points,..) and provide training • Support/Investigate in a timely manner any non-conformities and trends followed by proper communication for solutions • Provide coaching, training, counselling and guidance to the production staff, other departments, stakeholders and less experienced peers by sharing technical expertise and knowledge on a frequent basis. • Support innovation projects and the development of concepts for product and process enhancements, technical alternatives by identifying, proposing and leading improvement opportunities in order to focus on security, quality, excellence and productivity goals of a manufacturing center, in adherence with OPEN+ related DMS methodology • Evaluate the execution in term of cost, time and risks and propose action in order to decrease the process waste/ losses • Analyze trends in terms of relation between batch control parameters and machine performance in order to evaluate improvement opportunities. Who we’re looking for: • 4 year degree in Engineering or similar field or equivalent • Fluent in English Physical Requirements:  • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and crouch as needed 8/10/12 hours during a shift. Must be able to bend and lift various weights up to 25lbs if needed during shift.
