Joining Product & Operations IT Within IT, the IT Product and Operations team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams. The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualizing, delivering and supporting state of the art and secure IT technologies across the end-to-end value chain. When you join this team, you will work closely with the IT Product and Operations leadership team and critical business collaborators as a trusted technology partner to embed continuous innovation, work at speed and scale, develop your career in numerous directions in line with your aspirations and in a truly international and diverse context. As a Technical Lead you will be part of the Industrial IoT Platform team. As part of the team, you will lead end-to-end technical capability building for the platform supporting our manufacturing & engineering processes and accelerating the digital transformation at PMI. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR? • University degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience • 10+ years of professional experience in IT Delivery in Consulting, Tech, Manufacturing, Pharma Industries or similar • 3+ years of professional experience in Technical Product Management • Exposure to international environments, with a proven track record in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment • Clear written and verbal communications skills; Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative, and flexible; excellent time management and organizational skills • Mastering cloud technologies, architectures and ecosystem • Mastering Enterprise Integration practices (SOA, Microservices, ESB, ETL/ELT, Service Mesh, API • Hands-on experience with database design, both SQL and NoSQL (including TimeseriesDB) • Hands-on experience with integration standards SOAP, REST, WS*, JWT, AMQP, MQTT. FTP • Hands-on experience with AWS platform (EC2, S3, Security, Lambda, EKS, IoT Greengrass, AppSync) or equivalent services in Azure or GCP • Hands-on experience with building micro-frontend and backend applications for web and/or mobile devices • Proficiency in Data Modelling, Master and Meta-Data, Datawarehouse domains (e.g., Inmon, Kimball, Data-Vault, Data-Mesh) • Proficiency in Manufacturing technologies and themes (IT/OT Convergence, Purdue Model, Industrial Protocol, OPC DA, OPC UA, PLC vs Equipment vs Devices vs Sensor) • Proficiency in using or building application observability • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (SSO with SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth) and Authorization with RBAC/ABAC modelling • Understanding of Industry 4.0/Industrial IoT concepts and associated technologies • Understanding of manufacturing processes and practices (Make2Sell, Make2Stock, Lean, Loss Reduction, Demand Planning and Scheduling, Factory Logistic, etc.), and reference models (ISA-95, RAMI 4.0, etc. ) Nice to have: • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Professional or AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty Certification. • Hands-on Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, BigPicture) • Hands-on Experience with Microsoft PowerBI and Grafana. • Understanding of SAP technologies is a plus (e.g., PI, BODS, Transactions and Tables) • Understanding of Machine-Learning key practices (Features Extraction, Model Inferencing, Data Discovery) WHAT WE OFFER YOU • Wide range of trainings, optional language classes, further education and professional qualification support possibility • Private medical and dental care, life insurance • Lunch card (Sodexo), Multisport & Cafeteria program • Hybrid model of work and flexible working arrangements • Employee pension plan • Free bike and car parking for all employees • Eligibility to participate in Copyrighted Work program (possibility to increase tax-deductible costs) HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • You will be the main point of contact to define the strategy for technical capabilities evolution and the associated roadmap • You will collaborate with the Industrial IoT Platform Manager and you will collaborate with other Technical Leads on the team through regular touchpoints • You will drive the conceptualization, co-design, delivery of the portfolio of technical capabilities, development of business/technical capability mapping for continuous development along with business and internal IT stakeholders • You will own the backlog/pipeline of functional and non-functional requirements associated with the capabilities and drive the delivery with a development team • You will collaborate with Platform, Solution and Domain Architects to ensure the alignment with reference platform architecture • You will be required to maintain in-depth knowledge of business functionalities and their association with technical capabililies as you will design key technologies, and/or data architecture to meet business needs while ensuring the alignment with IT standards • You will scout industry trends and propose technologies, technical Solutions, performing POCs of potential solution implementation for PMI needs within existing PMI landscape • You will be accountable to manage the Technical-Debt and TCO optimization of the solutions in your portfolio of capabilities • You will enforce cross-solution collaboration and reusability of existing practices and building-blocks • You will collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to build and maintain engineering standards such as DevOps, PlatOps, TechOps practices and support teams in achieving engineering practices excellence • You will collaborate with the Industrial IoT Operations team to ensure the reliability and fullfillment of SLA • You will collaborate with PMI global/affiliates to support RFI and RFP processes for IT solutions & Technologies and participate in reviewing vendor submissions and suggesting that meet PMI requirements, including compliance with established standards and best practices What’s in it for you?
