For our SFP Commercial Capability Development team, based in central London UK, we are therefore looking for a Head of Capability Development - Channels. In this position you will own the creation, design and deployment of SFP capability development strategies and programmes across our commercial sales teams globally, working closely with our global SFP functions and capability development teams across all our SFP markets. This role plays a key part in our ability to accelerate the commercialisation & execution of SFP priorities through ensuring that CCO deployment forces & retailers are equipped to execute now and for the future. You will : • Identify and build the global functional capability strategy required for the future across SFP commercial teams to deliver our Multi-category strategy through market PMI & 3rd party sales populations. • Responsible for defining and agreeing capability development priorities and curriculum for all deployment forces and retailers with relevant senior Channel / Commercialisation teams to deliver strategies, priorities and goals. • To help drive learning innovation and industry best practices in the design and delivery of learning content, particularly in the digital space. • Responsible for all training content design, development for all Channel SFP training for market deployment forces and third party retailer staff and setting global design standards for our markets to follow. • Key project member for commercialisation of all category & channel projects working cross functionally with SFP functions and market CCO capability and trade engagement teams to deliver all deployment forces capability support. • Responsible for the ongoing deployment and management of all relevant global channel & Retailer staff training curriculum content via our online learning platforms and communities. • Responsible for the ongoing communication and engagement of Regional and Market Commercial teams in execution of global channel capability strategies, curriculum, learning programmes and competency assessments. • Drive the tracking and evaluation of learning to show business impact of global channel & retailer learning content across channel deployment forces through learning, people and consumer/commercial outcome KPIs. • Responsible for all deployment of global Commercial competency frameworks through effective market support of global commercial talent and assessment tools and data analysis. We are looking for: • University degree in business management, organisational development or other relevant field. • Substantial Capability building / Learning & Development and/or talent managerial experience across Hospitality, Customer Service, Retail & B2B sectors. • Experience of development of capability strategies and plans, building learning curricula and learning design standards, and global skills programme design, development and deployment across multi market, matrixed teams and audiences. • Strong background in Capability building (learning programme design and delivery), with a focus on Digital capability building (online learning design and development - ideally FUSE based or similar digital learning system knowledge). • Experience working with LMSs (Learning Management Systems) • Experience working with learning design & development models such as 5Di, with the ability to pinpoint pertinent learning outcomes and develop learning objectives to deliver them. • Strong commercial mindset and experience, particularly in-market commercial experience. • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to tackle new projects with a creative approach (and often without precedent), and using a team based-approach to decision making. • Experience of working cross-functionally in successfully to deliver projects, and experience acting as a consultant and subject matter expert across seniority levels. • Passion and curiosity for boosting learning and innovation and making an impact that matters.
