Senior IT Analyst DW&C HAM (Hardware Asset Management), make part of the T&PE Digital Workplace & Collaboration (DW&C) organization. Purpose: • Support the DW&C ITAM product owner in crafting, driving, implementing, and being responsible for DW&C IT Hardware Assets Management in End User Computing domain. • Handle planning and budgeting processes end to end for all assets in scope. Accountabilities: • Improve the business value of the DW&C IT assets. • Handle end to end planning of IT asset purchases with regular reviews and revisions involving partners and Finance. Keep the central Purchase Plan continuously updated. • Manage ITAM budget and provide input for budgeting cycles (OB, RFs, LE). • Maintain and further develop reporting capabilities for ordering and budgeting. • Provide input for Affiliate Chargeback. • Give and collaborate closely with Product Owner in crafting vision and maintaining the roadmap for DW&C IT Assets, crafting, developing, and implementing the organization’s asset management strategy. • Drive end to end implementation of new and improvement of existing processes. • Continuously supervise implemented processes. • Develop, improve, and continuously maintain business rules (company policies) for asset management. • Design, implement and maintain reporting capabilities and KPIs for DW&C IT assets. • Apply a continuous improvement approach in improving the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in supervising company assets within the Asset and Configuration Management Database (A/CMDB) throughout their lifecycle. • Plan and implement IT hardware asset life cycle strategy; advise Procurement and IT Operations in procurement strategies for IT hardware acquisition. • Optimize usage and cost of IT hardware deployments. • Ensure effective management of the A/CMDB and that the content contained is accurate. • Effectively collaborate with external vendors in operational activities. • Manage external service providers supporting asset management operational activities. Scope of Work: • Planning, Budgeting and Reporting of IT End User Computing assets • Asset management processes including life cycle management • Management of the A/CMDB • All DW&C PC assets (Windows / MacOS) • All DW&C mobile assets (iOS / Android) • All DW&C peripherals and small accessories Skills & Proficiencies: • IT Asset Management with deep technical, financial and business understanding • Proficiency in spoken and written English • A bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or IT with 5-10 years of hands-on work experience • Professional certification (e.g., CHAMP, ITIL, CITAM) or be able to achieve within six (6) months of hire • Experience in Budgeting and Planning of IT asset purchases • Knowledge of asset management data structures. Experience with Service-Now is a plus • Experience in process design and implementation on enterprise level • Expert in Excel to analyze high volumes of data. • Experience with MS Power BI is a plus • Experience working in IT Product Teams • Excellent project management skills (both Waterfall and Agile). Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus • High level of personal integrity, with ability to professionally handle confidential matters • Good communicator and negotiator with a strong customer focus • Strong verbal and written communication skills targeting IT & business audiences • Strong social skills; leadership skills desirable. • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a multifaceted environment. • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
