The Manager IT Data Platforms manages PMJ Data platforms that includes, but not limited, to PMJ CDP, PMJ Reporting systems (ACR / CDW) to deliver all solutions and associated services required by business function in an optimum and secure way by leveraging PMI information services and local team. ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountability 1 Understand and promote PMI IT Global Application Portfolio, specifically for Data domain. Accountability 2 Understand business needs and define IT Data solutions leveraging the Global IT and extend it with Local solution when required. Accountability 3 Manage the design, development and maintenance of local solutions related to Data Platforms following the global PMI standards and procedures. Accountability 4 Manage the deployment, localization and support of global/core business system solutions including data alignment. Accountability 5 Ensure appropriate system’ documentations and training programs/materials are in place. Accountability 6 Proactively identify business requirements not supported by the Global IT Portfolio, communicate, and agree the solution with the Global function. Accountability 7 Manage external (e.g., consultant, hakensha) and internal service providers to ensure that service levels are met. Accountability 8 Manage and build a flexible, agile and innovative Team that attracts, develops and retains the best talent in order to deliver IT required by PMI, currently and in the future. REQUIREMENTS Work Experience • 8+ years of business/IT experience on which at least 3 years of experience with Data Platform (BI, Reporting or CDP) • Experience in multinational Co., incl people management experience • ITIL Service Manager Certified / or equivalent. • Project Mgt. Experience Additional skills (Technical, Soft, SFIA) • Hands-on Technology knowledge/experience of some of the following technology: Redshift, Snowflakes, Treasure Data • Experience as Data Architect or Data Engineer • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English and Japanese (preferred). Education • University degree in Computer Sciences / Information Technology • University degree in Engineering / Business Administration with additional certificates, degrees or experience in IT Optional: further education/training on Data Management, Analytics, BI or reporting technology JOIN A GLOBAL MARKET LEADER PMI is the world’s leading international tobacco company, with six of the world's top 15 international brands and products sold in more than 180 markets.
