The Global Head Procurement Operations role’s key focus is to develop and drive the operational strategy across Procurement Global Function and Regions to enable Procurement growth objectives. -Set the strategy and lead Global Procurement Operations, across several delivery locations and including different business models (Captive SSC or BPO), to ensure effective service delivery and operational excellence for processes in scope. -Continuously develop Procurement Operations operating model and seek for scope and value expansion. Establish a service mind-set and culture across the organization, monitor and improve customer experiences. -Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Core Procurement (Global/ Regional) to ensure alignment in Business Operations strategic objectives, service delivery and best-in-class customer experience. Site Management: Act as a site manager for Procurement Operations and other Procurement groups based in Krakow to represent and incorporate Procurement needs in the site strategy (facilities- infrastructure management, compensation and benefits for employees, engagement, functional / site identity, etc.) WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement operations, with at least 7 years in a shared service center leadership role • Senior Leadership experience in business operations management at a global or regional level gained in global procurement operations center (Captive, outsourced). • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering. • Ability to think strategically and reconcile the overall business picture; leveraging the organization’s distinct capabilities and competitive advantages and seizing opportunities that stem from emerging trends, with clear thinking and pragmatism. • Proven expertise in Business Intelligence, Customer relationship management. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives. • Expert understanding of related aspects of operations processes and/or systems • Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to regional operations, in particular spend management within procurement and country budget management. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights to drive continuous improvement in procurement operations and service delivery. • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of Procurement operations to the business. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Drive in execution with proven success in deploying Expansion projects in the field of operations. • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing shared service center processes and procedures in a global organization. Experience in procurement process standardization across geographies WHAT WE OFFER YOU? • Private medical and dental care, life insurance • Company car / or car allowance • Subsidized meals in company canteens or Sodexo card while working remotely • Hybrid model work opportunity and flexible working arrangements • Employee pension plan • Multisport program • Wide range of trainings, optional language classes, further education and professional qualification support possibility • Free bike and car parking for all employees • Annual Bonus • Stock Options HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US Set the strategy and Deliver operational efficiency and process excellence to support overall procurement experience, agility and flexibility with great focus on : Consolidate all category agnostic activities; 2) Enable Core Procurement in the markets’ focus on business partnering and its right sizing ; 3) Expand in three dimensions: - geographically to cover all regions - functionally to cover all categories - scope to cover more value-added activities Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy for the Procurement Operations Centers that aligns with the company's overall business strategy and procurement objectives: - Build a long-term strategic direction and uplift our PO capabilities to manage increasingly complex work more effectively, efficiently, and with improved experience outcomes. - Define, implement, and evolve Procurement Operations strategy including service delivery and governance of internal processes. - Monitor industry trends and benchmark practices, participate in associations/conferences to ensure competitiveness and market standards implementation. Operating model: Currently responsible for Hub In Europe (captive center) and Asia (outsourced center) harmonize and drive expansion on the global scale through implementation of a single Procurement Operations Model. - Continuously adapt organization design through modeling scenarios and defining roadmaps to implement organization changes while ensuring continuity of service delivery. - Establish workforce planning framework, including resource allocation, forecasting, capacity planning and flexible/liquid workforce approach enabling strategic initiatives. Operational Efficiency: Deliver operational efficiency and process excellence by establishing and monitoring Procurement Operations centers metrics to measure and maximize performance, including cost savings, process efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. Harmonization& Standards: Identify the business areas in greatest need of process optimization based on Customer needs, industry best practices, and benchmark performance measures to maximize productivity & Performance. - Ensure high quality and continuity of service provision, drive operational excellence through process standardization / optimization and performance management framework (KPIs, SLAs, reports). - Implement and maintain ways to collect and measure stakeholders’ feedback. Service level: Ensure that service levels satisfy the expectations of internal customers in terms of responsiveness, Resource availability, customer orientation, technical skills, and multilingual capabilities. - Own relationship and manage performance of a service provider. - Own and maintain Business Continuity planning for Procurement Operations. - Continuously evaluate the performance of the procurement shared service center and recommend process improvements and changes as necessary. Budget: Provide end-to-end financial management of global Procurement Operations including budget planning, financial reporting, capacity planning, forecasts & actuals tracking for projects, products, and services portfolio. Ensure effective cost control and resource allocation. Develop high-performing team of procurement professionals to deliver excellent procurement services to our global procurement organization. Drive engagement and sense of belonging across Procurement Operations Centers. Ensure talent pipeline and succession for critical positions. Instill customer centricity and service mindset.
