Your ‘day to day’ The Operations Learning Program Manager works across the learning lifecycle to deploy Capabilities to Operations employees. Covering 10 Ops sub-functions, you will be assigned projects to deploy, refresh, or lead learning and development for cross-functional Capabilities. This is a total learning ecosystem remit across culture of learning, learning technology and learning operations while partnering with owners of functional Capabilities to guide, challenge, and develop them to deliver high impact learning and development. In this position you will: Deliver cross-functional capability deployment across the Operations sub-functions, by ensuring learning activities are aligned with the PMI Operations’ strategy and PMI's overall learning strategy – • You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the PMI Operations function to analyse learner needs in partnership with subject matter authorities, to identify gaps in current or future performance and requirements for capability building. • Lead the design, development, and delivery of a range of integrated learning and development solutions by handling external partner vendors and/or internal resources to develop appropriate interventions. • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify new content for development and lead the production process to ensure validation of content and flow. • Design learning experiences that are timely, contextually relevant, engaging, and impactful using a variety of digital learning formats and techniques: videos, e-learning (SCORM, HTML5), infographics, games/simulations, podcasts, virtual classrooms, gamification etc. • Occasionally deliver training to Ops employees as part of Capability deployment. • Run adoption and engagement campaigns when launching learning solutions and initiatives, while coordinating post learning initiatives to drive learning transfer. • Consistently evaluate Capabilities performance and impact from the learner, workplace, and business perspectives. Act as a business partner to the Ops functions to build and coordinate end-to-end plans for design, production and communication – using short cycles and quick timescale – • Be an expert for learning design, guiding diverse stakeholders on the best approach to implement learning solutions that respond to specific business needs. • Contribute to managing a community of functional Learning Leads. Lead on developing a culture of learning at PMI – • Design inherently inclusive learning experiences to include integrated culture, communications, and non-learning initiatives. • Influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, line managers, learners, to adopt a desired learning culture. • Work to integrate parts of the learning ecosystem (technology, process, people) to support the Learning Culture. Aim to consistently achieve excellence and operational improvements across learning and development at PMI – • Develop team processes and activities to ensure consistency and efficiency of the learning and development. • Collaborate with other People & Culture teams such as Vendor Management Team and Learning Talent & Performance Team • Ensure the quality of learning solutions (fit-for-purpose) and that value is well articulated to stakeholders. • Develop, coach and train other members of the team in specialisms or experience you have gained. We’re looking for someone with: • Experience in working in a Learning and Development management role within in a large, multi-cultural organisation or consultancy with colleagues/clients in different countries and time zones • Experience of managing large projects in a matrix organisation • Experience of using Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms • CIPD qualification or equivalent in HR/ L&D • A passion for L&D, who is able to lead and deliver thought leadership and innovation in this subject area while remaining agile in a dynamic organisation • A natural drive and tendency for collaboration, customer focus, and relationship building for mutual benefit. • Desirable - Experience in instructional design, vendor management, training facilitation, coaching/mentoring, leadership programs/academies, integrated talent management • Desirable - Project Management certificate; Instructional design certificate What we offer: Our success depends on the talented employees who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
