Philip Morris Dominicana is looking for a Financial Accounting Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and controlling all accounting, account Payable records and tables of accounts to correctly obtain the financial statements according to PMI policies and local laws. You will also be accountable for: • Ensure timely and accurate period (monthly, quarterly, yearly) reporting of all financial data to company management to give a realistic and true picture of the financial results in the short, medium, and long term. Supervise the statutory financial reporting process to ensure, for interim and full year external reporting, timely preparation of legal entity financial statements and related footnotes. • Ensure that the appropriate accounting standards are maintained in the processing of all accounting entries and the underlying transactions. • Fully utilize SAP to ensure the Company's accounting reflects the correct accounting and fiscal information, follows local and regional procedures, and abides to DR laws and regulations. • Coordinate with Share Service Center all activities processes, and procedures related to General Ledger and Account Payables activities to ensure that transactions are timely and accurate presented in the accounting records. Follow-up on pending items within one accounting cycle (i.e.one month-end close). • Coordinate activities related to external audits and cooperate the internal auditors by ensuring adequate availability of staff, systems, and information. Coordinate the activities of statutory to present the realistic financial state of company business. • Through effective communication contribute to increasing and maintaining the awareness of financial considerations as an integral part of the company's objectives. At own initiative propose changes to the processes that will improve communication and analysis of the data. Requirements: • Min.
