Joining Information Security Running at the forefront of PMI's Digital Transformation, Information Security offers guidance, solutions and advisory all across PMI, supporting our secure journey towards a smoke-free future. Our scope ranges from security assessments, architecture, governance and risk advisory, through resilience, cyber threat intelligence and incident response, to supporting PMI Functions, Markets, and Platforms (e.g. Finance, People & Culture, Operations, Consumer or Product) and building an organizational security culture. What’s the purpose of this role? We are looking for a Security Architect with expertise in data security field to join our Security Engineering team. The Security Architect will play a key role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data. The candidate will focus on the architecture of data security solutions, including DLP, data confidentiality classification, insider risk management, and other related technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of data security best practices, as well as the ability to design and implement robust security architectures. Key responsibilities: 1. Data Security Architecture: • Design, implement, and maintain data security architectures and solutions. • Develop and help implementing data security policies, standards, and procedures. • Conduct regular assessments of data security controls and make recommendations for improvements. 2. Data Loss Prevention (DLP): • Architecture, implement, and lead DLP solution (based on Microsoft Purview stack) to prevent unauthorized access, use, and transmission of sensitive data. • Design DLP policies and rules to align with organizational security requirements. 3. Data Confidentiality Classification: • Develop, maintain, and evolve data classification standards. • Implement data classification processes to ensure appropriate handling of sensitive information. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Demonstrable experience (2+ years) as a Security Architect, with a focus on data security. • Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in cyber security field (e.g. Security Engineer) in a large corporate organization • Deep technical expertise in major cloud computing providers' security and data protection tools, with a solid focus on Microsoft 365 solution stack (e.g., Purview, MDCA, Defender, etc.) • Familiarity with relevant data security standards and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIST, PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001 , etc.). • Good understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and identity and access management. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Superb communication and interpersonal abilities. • High level of personal integrity and work ethics to handle confidential matters professionally and responsibly.
