We are looking for an experienced Life Sciences Solution Architect to help rearchitect our system landscape to help pivot PMI to a multi category organization, enabling speed and scale in delivery of robust and credible science and regulatory packages, substantiating claims and supporting product launch. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also possesses an innovation mindset, proactive self-management, and the business and change perspectives required to engage effectively with multi-functional teams and drive meaningful change. Your day to day: 1. Domain Expertise: Direct and steer the development of architecture solutions as part of the Life Sciences Strategy by ensuring that business strategies & drivers are analyzed & synthesized to formulate relevant IT solutions considering Life-Sciences industry trends, pace of technology evolution and impact on the enterprise. 2. Architecture Design: Direct and steer the development of IT Life-Sciences architecture solutions across all architectural perspectives, tailored to the specific needs of life sciences, the wider PMI context, and bringing the best modern architecture principles to bear. 3. Solution Management: Lead and manage technology, business, and delivery partners providing guidance, mentorship, and structure to deliver great designs on time and with the right alignment. 4. Data Strategy: Co-Design with Enterprise Analytics and Data architects the Life-Sciences data strategies that facilitate exceptional health value creation for customers and PMI. 5. Compliance: Ensure that IT solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and that risk and entrepreneurial approaches are balanced. 6. Documentation: Maintain enough documentation and compelling communication of IT architecture, processes, and procedures to support compliance, troubleshooting, and asset reuse. 7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage closely with Life-Sciences management, scientists, IT teams, ecosystem partners, and user representatives to understand their underlying needs and facilitate the creation of excellent solutions. 8. Vendor Management: Engage, and exploit strategic vendor relationships that can be leveraged to evolve PMI’s IT Life-Sciences Architecture to adapt & adopt new & emerging technology trends. 9. Leadership: Foster a team culture of delivery, agility, service, learning, innovation and continuous improvement that sustains a strong team purpose and ethos order to deliver IT required by PMI Life-Sciences , currently and in the future. Who we are looking for: • Extensive experience in IT architecture and design, with a focus on life sciences or healthcare, in particular in the R&D lifecycle • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in database management, cloud computing, and data analytics • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to address evolving research needs • Relevant certifications in IT architecture or life sciences compliance (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) • Experience with clinical, or clinically relevant data management. Experience with RWE and RWD is particularly welcome. • Experience with design and development of analytic platforms that support both BI and Data Science (ML/AI) capabilities using best of breed tools and technologies.
