We are looking for a Security & Market Safety Senior Lead E&L based in Cairo. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years in a corporate, operational security environment or related field, preferably in a country security/safety role. RISE TO THE CHALLENGE Lead and manage the EHS (team) in the E&L PMI organizations, to drive strong EHS culture, achieve the company's EHS commitments and, to ensure that EHS systems and programs are implemented and continuously improved by minimizing the business impact of foreseeable losses. Perform MAP mid-year and Annual Performance Review for EHS (team). Provide the local environment, health, fleet and market safety team members have the right skills and have received sufficient training to perform their job. Develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports through regular coaching and mentoring, to raise the necessary skills and knowledge in the affiliate environment, health, fleet and market safety organization. Minimize/prevent fleet related crashes, injuries, fatalities and security losses and property damage. Provide that all risks mitigation plans, and emergency response procedures are implemented, trained, and kept up-dated to avoid business disruption, and to be in compliance with relevant local legislations, PMI Principles & Practices, standards, procedures and guidelines. More Specifically you will: "Programs execution’’ Develop and implement the function's strategy, objectives, plans and budget execution for EHS. Manage that core security, environment, fleet, safety, health activities are aligned with business requirements. Ensure the execution complies with Company's and local environment, health, safety, security, fleet safety regulatory requirements. Provide inputs to continuously improve performance, by developing upgrading new/current procedures, guidelines, and best practices. "Management Arrangement’’ Develop, implement, and monitor the security & market/fleet safety management system and programs, and strive for improvements to protect people, business, assets and reputation based on company principles and practices and applicable regulatory requirements, and to ensure that programs and procedures are adhered to, and responsibilities are communicated and are understood." "Training’’ Plan, organize and deliver security, market safety and fleet safety training programs as per PMI and local regulatory requirements to all local staff, to build a robust and sustainable Security & Market Safety culture within the market/affiliate. Provide expert support to local management on tactical and practical emergency response management. Ensure relevant communication is established with employees at regular functional meetings, including security/safety briefs, alerts, instructions, and refreshers. Introduce and keep up-to-date training records as per PMI requirements and applicable OHS and Fleet Safety legislation. Organize and deliver bespoke training (defensive driving, etc.) to ensure that Company's drivers are equipped with the necessary skills and competencies." "Performance and Reporting’’ Respond to and report security & market/fleet safety incidents as per the program requirements. Support the root cause analysis for security and/or safety-related investigations, and the corrective action plan implementation. Perform/supervise yearly program health checks, ensure gaps/non-conformities are addressed with controls, and follow up implementation. "Incident and Emergency Response Management’’ Develop, implement, and test emergency response protocols to protect people, business, assets and reputation from natural and man-made disasters. Manage security & market/fleet safety incident investigation, analysis, reporting and retain incident records to identify patterns, causes and provide guidance/ recommendations to prevent incident reoccurrence." "Performance Improvement’’ Initiate, execute, coordinate environment, health, security & market / fleet safety projects, by identifying the needs, weaknesses and/or emerging issues and propose solutions, to improve programs improvement and capabilities to achieve objectives and targets." "Risk Management’’ Perform and support the local security, market and fleet safety risk assessment and execution. Provide input for the risk mitigation action plan. Execute and supervise the mitigation action plan execution. Perform annual risk assessment review and gap analysis. Contribute to the production and the maintenance of local security/safety guidelines, procedures and emergency response plans." "Vehicle selection process’’ Provide guidance and requirements to the vehicle selection process, by implementing fleet safety minimum requirements, to ensure that the correct standard of vehicles is procured in line with PMI Fleet Safety requirements. Performance Improvement Ensure the proper commercial organization, by leading and developing EHS team to become motivated, skilled, and optimally resourced, to guarantee that performance levels and professional development objectives are achieved. Support Commercial Leadership and Behavioral programs implementation, to foster and enhance a safety culture within the affiliate contributing with the overall PMI objectives achievement. Legal OHS Third Party Service Providers Select, appoint, and manage local OHS third party service providers in conjunction with procurement and Cluster Security & Market Safety Manager. Ensure third party service provider's performance consistently meet all PMI requirements and standards, by developing a comprehensive KPI measurement and monitoring system, regular performance review, and effective reward/penalty mechanism, while at the same time maintaining effective coordination. Management of Change Manage EHS projects, by providing guidance and advice for the integration of EHS requirements in the design, construction/installation, and commissioning of new and/or revamped buildings, installations, engineering works, machinery, and equipment and monitor the technical certification of all new equipment brought into the factory, to eliminate or reduce risks and comply with legal requirements." Others: skills / function specifics: • Language Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills is a must. • PC Skills MS Office Package, Power BI is a plus. • Skills Experience conducting security risk assessments and security or safety audits, familiarity with supply chain security standards (i.e. TAPA, C-TPAT), OHS training or certifications (such as NIBOSH, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, ISO 27001 implementation and auditor equivalent) a plus; understanding of crisis management and emergency response best practice, knowledge of fleet safety best practices a significant advantage, strong verbal and written communication skills, high level of personal and professional integrity; leads by example, ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex organizational set-up, able to build strong business relationships and smart partnerships, establish strong networks, ability to analysis data and interpret, administer budget planning & forecasts, administer risk, threat and intelligence programs. • Internal Relationships Central Function Leadership, Regional/Cluster Management, Managing Directors, Sales Directors, Manufacturing Directors Markets/Affiliates Management; Market Security/Safety Managers/Leads. • Travel Up to 30% travel throughout the region; occasional trips outside the region.
