Senior Domain Architect - Consumer Integration

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domain Architect covering integration topics to join our organization. As the Domain Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in designing, advising, and shaping integration strategy, tooling, guidelines or consolidation across our B2C & B2B platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide the integration architecture to ensure efficient and seamless data flow between various systems and applications. As we move towards a Product based organization, Integration sits at the heart of our vision, you will be required to ensure Integration strategy meets our product needs and requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Integration Architecture and Design: • Develop integration strategies and architectural frameworks to meet business objectives and align with technology standards. • Design scalable and robust integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange and interoperability between systems. • Define integration patterns, protocols, and APIs to ensure secure and efficient data transfer. • Assess existing systems and propose enhancements or modifications to optimize integration capabilities. 2. Integration Solution shaping: • Shape the implementation of integration solutions using industry-standard integration patterns and best practices. • Collaborate with other members of IT and partners to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Advise and influence integration middleware thinking, APIs, and connectors to facilitate smooth connectivity between systems. • Fix integration design issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integration solutions. • Develop Integration Roadmaps that align to product strategy for tech next 3-5 years 3. Technical Leadership and Collaboration: • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the integration team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Mentor and coach peers, supporting their professional growth and development. • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including business partners, product owner, and infrastructure teams, to ensure successful integration delivery. 4. Integration Governance and Best Practices: • Establish integration frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance across integration projects. • Define and enforce security measures and data privacy standards for integration solutions. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in integration architecture and recommend their adoption to drive innovation and efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Demonstrable experience (10+ years) in designing and implementing complex integration solutions, preferably in a leadership role. • Strong expertise in integration patterns, protocols, and technologies such as APIs, REST, GRAPHQL, ETL, messaging queues, etc. • Hands-on experience with integration platforms and tools like MuleSoft, Apollo, AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS or equivalent technologies. • In-depth knowledge of cloud-based integration architectures (AWS preferable) and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with enterprise systems, databases, and enterprise application integration (principles. • Strong leadership abilities with experience in guiding and collaborating with technical experts. • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
