THE OPPORTUNITY

 

You will be managing the Global Service Management team of Philip Morris in Manila, Philippines. You will establish Philip Morris International (PMI) strategy for the adoption of ITIL based Service Management practices and you will develop and drive programs across PMI’s Information Services (IS) community to ensure its correct adoption in delivering quality information services for PMI’s business community.  The adoption of these practices applies to all the PMI IS community, Help Desks (central and affiliate), IS and IT Departments/Delivery Centers, third party entities who are involved in the chain of the service delivery.

You will develop overall programs for the education of the PMI IS community in Service Management practices and you will be responsible for the definition and maintenance of a standard application to support the service management processes. This role is key in PMI IS being able to deliver excellence in services provided to the PMI business community.

PMI’s Service Management best practices are built on ITILv3 methodology and cover Service Design, Transition and Operations. We are applying our Service Delivery Model globally for all IS services and are continuously improving our best practices. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead Global Service Management Governance Board and you will coordinate related activities in order to align and ensure the adoption of Service Management practices globally
  • Define Service Management strategy related long range plans
  • Be the central contact for all Service Management matters at PMI
  • Be the Service Manager of the central Service Management application
  • Be responsible for project and operational budgets
