YOU are action oriented with strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills. You have excellent planning and problem solving skills and are able to work independently. Specifically, you have:

  • University degree in Computer Sciences / Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration with additional certificates, degrees or experience in IS.
  • 2-5 years of working experience in IS/IT matters or equivalent (in areas relevant to information security and/or information management domains).
  • Experience with large-corporation IT management, in areas such as problem/change management, infrastructure operations, information retention, and IT controls/audit.
  • Good understanding of / hands-on experience with ITIL-based IT management processes, in areas such as problem/change management, asset management and risk management.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

YOU will be part of the Information Protection and Governance (IPG) team of Philip Morris International (PMI) as IPG Analyst and will be based in Makati City, Philippines. You will be reporting to the Information Services Manager IPG Cluster Asia Center. You will play a challenging role within a dynamic environment. YOU will also be responsible for:

  • Applying IPG processes in the areas of information security and/or information management through activities such as training and raising awareness, risk assessment/management/mitigation, application of processes, standards, procedures and guidelines, and related controls.
  • Contributing with clear, actionable IPG guidance to IS led projects/services to ensure applicable information security and information management requirements are addressed during the project/service life-cycles and result in P&P compliant services, commensurate with considerations of information risk and data value.
  • Reviewing systems/services operated through IS for compliance with principles & practices (P&P), standards, procedures and guidelines in scope of IPG (including those maintained within the IS function's Quality Management System for regulatory compliance) to facilitate compliance with Company requirements in the areas of information security and information management.
  • Contributing to fulfilling requirements under IPG long-range and annual plans and pursue alignment activities (e.g. in areas of access control and document retention) by efficiently engaging with superiors and other stakeholders in line with guidance from IPG management.

  • Identifies source of production losses and takes action in order to ensure continuous operation.
  • Ensures that the daily production data is recorded in information systems and; interpret the results and define corrective actions if needed
  • Organizes, lead and controls the work of subordinates, motivate and encourages their personal and professional development.
