Your ‘day to day’ You will work as a 12 months’ fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Electronics (Shenzhen) (PMES). PMES operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Shenzhen. You may be required to be engaged by a 3rd party service provider to be assigned to work at PMES. This position is responsible in the execution of the regional project initiatives such as line extensions, product changes, maintenance projects and any other feasibility or improvements concerning electronic devices by supporting planning and coordinating between Product Specifications, Regional Product Commercialization Project Leaders and Electronic Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Manufacturing Suppliers. It also aims to support manufacturing factories to ensure all new products or changes in existing products are well understood and executed in line with the electronic device's product requirements. • Coordinate activities such as but not limited to code creations, BOM set-up, packaging execution, compliance check, manufacturing and sourcing capabilities and confirmation of timing. • Ensures that final specifications of the product and manufacturing are defined and commercial production is ready. Also leading the validation and approval of finished products via the G4 process. • Create and maintains a product database (which includes BOM, weights, dimensions, print online requirements, case requirements, specific market requirements and Vendor Allocation) of implemented projects for future resources and project planning. • Execute the regional commercialization of smoke free electronic device projects by ensuring that project is delivered timely as per agreed with no impact in product quality, and no additional cost and meets regulatory requirement. • Support regional projects tasks and milestones through a comprehensive project report database. Prepare project feasibility by analyzing project expectations versus the defined processes and lead time. Conduct risk assessments, mitigations, and solutions for device, packaging, and assembly process to meet project expectation. • Coordinate with manufacturing partner and ensure system set up, process and control are well established for every product change updates. Ensure that risks are mitigated for every ECN (Engineering Change Notification) implementation prior to production. Who we’re looking for: • University degree in Science, Engineering or related field. • Proven experience in BOM and Specifications management is a MUST. • 2+ years proven experience in Electronic Devices (Development or Manufacturing), Supply Chain environment with solid understanding in Manufacturing Process and Project Management. • Strong interpersonal skills, decisive and resourceful • Strong learning and analytical skills, good problem- solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
