Your ‘day to day’ You will work as a 12 months’ fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Hong Kong. You may be required to be engaged by a 3rd party service provider to be assigned to work at PMAL. You will support at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). You will ensure that all device and/or product changes during sustaining phase is efficiently governed, maintained in applicable systems and properly documented and communicated to our Electronics Manufacturing Sites (EMS) partners. The role is responsible in ensuring its correctness by conducting proper review, approval and maintenance of specifications as per applicable PMI processes and standards. Responsibilities • Ensure that packaging components and/or Finished Good Bill of Materials (BoM) have been reviewed and approved for Release and/or change management process. • Manage information cascade of the new component device and/or product code to EMS and Reverse Operations team via the accepted communication platform (example: ECN - Engineering Change Notification). • Coordinate with EMS Specifications Office and Reverse Operations team to ensure system set-up, process and control are well established for every product change. Ensure that a comprehensive risk and impact assessment is conducted and risks are mitigated for every ECN (Engineering Change Notification) implementation prior to production. • Ensure that complexities are minimized by establishing a self-sustaining and robust process for components and/or codes clean-up in applicable PMI systems. They should also ensure that complexity reduction is effectively cascaded to relevant stakeholders and executed until completion. Who we’re looking for - Bachelor degree in Engineering. - Minimum 1-2 years work experience in NPI activities, Manufacturing or Supply Chain of Electronic Devices. - Should have solid experience in Configuration Management (BOM structure and systems). - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking. - Strong interpersonal skills, decisive and extremely resourceful. - Consistent knowledge of Supply Chain process/Third Party Management. - Strong learning and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; good command of English.
