Welcome to Philip Morris Kazakhstan (PMK). The company was established in 1993, when Philip Morris acquired shares of Almaty Tobacco Company JSC.
PMK has a modern production facility in the Almaty region. The company manufactures a wide range of international cigarette brands, both for sale in Kazakhstan and for export to other Central Asian countries.

PMK employs around 700 employees. We continuously invest in our people and have spent more than USD 16 million on professional development. An increasing number of Kazakhstani citizens now work in senior and managerial positions in PMI affiliates outside Kazakhstan.
Our charitable contributions in Kazakhstan are primarily aimed at improving rural communities, solving pressing issues, and providing support to vulnerable groups. PMK supports agribusiness development projects through educational programs for farmers in the Yenbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region. Over the past 20 years, PMK has contributed more than USD 8 million to charitable programs.
